| About: | Mods: VikkiKirky82 and Joone  Welcome to the NF.com “Feedback Club”! :) This community was created to give Nsync fan fiction authors a place to receive and give constructive criticism. Why? Because being a writer, you know what feedback you find useful, and what kind just boosts your ego…lol! The idea started on the NF.com Board, I clipped some quotes that motivated this ball to start rolling. Click here if you’d like to read them. :) There aren’t many “rules”… I think that too many kinda sucks the fun out. Yet nonetheless some things do need to be said: 1. You must have a LJ account to join. This isn’t our rule… its Live Journal’s. :) 2. Authors only. You will NOT be allowed posting privileges until you send us an email with a link to the website containing your stories. Please include your LJ user name too! We will reply back letting you know when you can begin posting (it may take a day or two ‘til one of us check the email account). 3. Your stories should be posted on a website accessible to the other community members. Please NO sites where they must ‘join’ to read (ie. message boards). If you need your story hosted, stop by the NF Archive. If you post stories in your live journal, that’s fine… please do not post stories here. All posts containing stories will be deleted, and that will suck if you didn’t save a copy. 4. When requesting feedback, post your story in this format: Title: Rating: [PG, PG-13, R, NC-17] Character: [member(s) of Nsync] Summary: Warnings: [if any! - i.e: slash, drug abuse, explicit sexual content, etc.] URL Link: http:// - The subject heading must say “Feedback Request” - If your story is incomplete, please note that. If you plan to request feedback after every chapter update… that’s fine. Maybe add a “Chapter Updated: (chapter number)” line to the above format. - It takes time to read stories and think of the feedback you want to say. Please be patient and respectful to your peers. Any negative “hello! I’m waiting for my feedback!! Reply back!!” … will be deleted. I will enforce the *three strikes are you’re out* rule too. 5. If you request feedback from community members, then you MUST provide feedback for others as well. All authors are welcome as long as you give feedback every so often, requesting feedback is only optional. 6. No member is required to review EVERY story, also no story is promised to be reviewed. Hopefully a situation like that will never happen… lol! (If you only review/write Justin stories… that’s fine. You won’t be kicked out for something like that. Btw, I just used Justin as an example… that goes for all Nsync members). 7. Positive and constructive feedback only. That doesn’t mean to lie either… lol! Be honest, but don’t crush anyone’s self-esteem. Meaning, “your story sucks!” isn’t allowed. There are many words in the English language, I’m sure anyone can come up with some to express their thoughts and not be mean or harsh to the author. If you need ideas to what ‘good feedback’ is… click here for some reviewing guidelines. 8. When posting feedback, be sure the subject heading says “Feedback For: (Story Title)”. Be sure to post the title and author of the story you are feedbacking, that’s not a word but I’m making it one! lol! Also, please remember to LJ-Cut the feedback/review… it saves others from unnecessary scrolling. :) If you have any questions feel free to contact us. Our email address is at the top of the page.
