Well, sorta. The "rules" stated below are now suggestions. Very strong suggestions. But for the most part, this will (for now) be a free-for-all. Let 'er rip.

Feel free to discuss *MOSTLY* everything, but as we're not trying to step on anyone's toes, don't make posts that might better be suited to already existing communities. For example, use:

boybanddrabbles - to post/request drabbles
pop_reference - for questions about all popstars, not just Nsync
popmediafinders - to find a particular pop-related media file
popstoryfinders - to find a particular pop site/story/author
shinyandnew - to pimp your brand new pop stories
There are surely many more. So why *this* one? I just thought there should be a less restrictive livejournal community where nsync fans could discuss, complain, muse, and share thoughts about Nsync, the five members, and the fandom in general. So, rules:
1. Only Nsync-related stuff. No BSB, Christina, or Britney UNLESS it's directly related to Nsync. And nothing about how much you hate your boss, unless your boss happens to be in or related to Nsync. Then we want to hear all about it.
2. If there is something in your personal lj that you think we'd like to read, feel free to cross-post, or, better yet, post a link here to that specific post.
3. No "What kind of popstar eyebrow piercing are you?" quiz results. Maybe if a new Nsync-related quiz is created, someone can post a link (just a LINK!) to said quiz. Post results in your own LJ.
4. No pictures of you, unless it's related (a picture of you with a Puppy, a picture of you in drag as a Puppy, a picture of your real puppies, named Lance and Joey, doing it on the front lawn, etc...)
5. I'm thinking NOT posting of fics or links, because we already have shinyandnew for that. So, like, maybe I'd suggest everyone who'd join this community would join that one, too, and that would limit annoying
cross posting.
6. Feel free to post your feelings about the Nslash fandom, the Livejournal *Nslash fandom, the hiatus, and yes, gossip. You can be honest, which means you might say something negative. But please be *constructively* negative. Gossip should be labeled as such, not as hard news. If there is drama in the fandom, bring it up! Some of us are out of the loop and don't know about it! Maybe we can sort it out and deflate the drama before it gets out of hand.
7. LJ-cut is our friend. USE IT. For pictures, long posts, etc. But tell us what is behind the cut!
7. PROMOTE your new Nsync-related livejournal community and new challenges. Remember, post links to new fanfic atshinyandnew.
8. A "mature" place of Ndiscussion. I hope I don't have to explain that. Harassment will not be tolerated.
9. NO:role playing, begging for people to add you to their friends list, asking about the location of specific stories popstoryfinders!
10: YES:
Constructive criticism about Nsync fanfiction
Constructive criticism and/or ranting about JustinChrisJoeyLanceJC
Announcements of new challenges (but not the stories themselves
Announcements of new Nsync-related LJ communities
Questions about people in the fandom (What ever happened to soandso?)
And please PLEASE, for the love of all that is good and sparkly in this world, a little GRAMMAR!!
A note about KAFUFFLES:
When they come up, people like to discuss them, and it's confusing when people say in their LJ "this kerfluffle is driving me mad" and other people don't know what the heck you're talking about. So, please tell us what the specific drama IS when you want to rant about it.
