Welcome to the SasuNaru/NaruSasu Round Robin community! This is a community dedicated for the sole purpose of writing Round Robin format SasuNaru fanfic. Here, several round robin stories will be posted; you can also ask if people are interested in starting a new Round Robin or join an existing one.

What is a Round Robin?
Essentially, it's a multi-parter fic with each part written by a different author. The challenge of the Round Robin format is to write a chapter with a storyline/plot already established by previous writers within a given time limit. You can change the plotline reasonably in your own chapter, but you can't altogether throw away the basis that your fellow authors have established for you - that would completely defeat the purpose of a Round Robin!



Community Rules:
Etiquette Be polite, both to your fellow writers and to the community admins. Give and receive criticism graciously!
Chapters: There is a time limit of one month to write your chapter when your turn comes around - the month starts the day the previous writer posts their chapter.

Try to write a decent-length chapter of at least 500 words. 1000+ words would be even better, but hey, we know how busy people can be.
Characterisation: Maintain characterization! Don't write Naruto as a weepy crybaby or Sasuke as a cold-hearted bastard with absolutely no consideration for others. Consider the series carefully and write the characters accordingly - of course, you can write AU and the like, but try to avoid unnecessary caricatures (this applies to any character).

Avoid character-bashing. Not everyone hates the same characters as you do.

Please have minimal emphasis on uke and seme roles unless it is for comedic effect. Remember, this is a SasuNaru/NaruSasu Round Robin community. I think that speaks for itself. =)
Rating: Please don't write anything above R. NC-17 is all good and well, but we're trying to create fic without advisory warnings or whatnot. Lime is great, but we're aiming for plot and characterization. This sounds so limiting, but remember, not everyone's comfortable writing smut or taking up the reins after two characters have had sex.
Beta-ing: Please spell and grammar check your chapter! Please don't overuse ellipses or exclamation points or otherwise abuse punctuation. If you need, [info]wolfpilot06 or [info]etsumilau or [info]taes or [info]jammaster_goat will technical beta your chapter before you post it, though it might be a few days before they can get to it. Thank you for helping us maintain the overall quality of the fics!
