Current mood:flustered

hyperventilate with me.
Look who's back in town.

By all that's holy.

I'm shaking.

ANYONE posting HPOP spoilers here will be screened as quickly as I can get to them. So please no spoilers. Thank you.

Okay. To be more useful as we've two posts up... injuries. Five splinchings, three of them Slytherin. Pansy has contusions to back and upper arms. Many head and torso injuries in the lot, some of them from panic and what looks like stampeding.

Queenie Greengrass has also been given her canon twin. I don't think this would have been a DE attack as Theodore Nott is listed among the missing.

Damage was done to the North Wing, particularly the Charms Corridor. (Professor Flitwick!! ;_; )

Let's be anti-Hat and Sort:

Slytherin
10 missing, including Blaise Zabini, Miranda Mulligan, Queenie Greengrass, and Theodore Nott
6 injured, including Draco who was injured for other reasons

Ravenclaw
14 missing, including whom I assume is Alicia Spinnet's brother
5 injured

Hufflepuff
16 missing
4 injured

Gryffindor
9 missing, including Harry, Colin, Soblessa, Evan (team captain)
6 injured, including Ron who was injured for other reasons (*brow waggle*)

Did something happen to the anti-apparition wards??

What happened!?

[Edit 6:00pm CT] Turpin pinpoints Michael Corner. She sounds flustered too.

[:05 CT] Hannah! ;_;

And Ron has an idea where Harry is....!

[:38 CT] Crabbe reports on Nott, Queenie, and Pansy. Owww.

Not meaning any disrespect, but pointing out a cultural touchstone... does this remind anyone of 9/11 reactions?

<3 McGonagall.

I have no clue! I am freaking out! And it looks like Ron and Draco beat the crap out of each other. *wibbles and runs in circles*
AND HARRY IS MISSING! Woe! Woe fills me!

I don't know!

But i'm afraid it would have to have been someone from inside the school, or that they at least had to get on the grounds first. Because it wouldn't make much sense to have anti-apparition wards that could be easily disabled from outside.

Which leads to 'who did it', 'why', and 'how', for which I sadly have no idea. ;_; F5's...

He's such a frantic friend. Even though, as Crabbe pointed out via Martin Miggs comparisons, he's not always so nice to Harry. I wonder where the Slytherins are.

Never mind, there's Crabbe. Uh oh. Nott's a sixth year, so either he's a very, very good student or he's horribly splinched somewhere. Or the Dark Lord, who knows.

Nott's seventeen apparently.

Draco says so anyway.

Ten of the Hufflepuffs are all second years, and ten of the Ravenclaws are all the same year, too. It's like the entire class is missing. O.O

Because of the way classes were interrupted, I'm guessing. I suppose they're all in that one wing. Charms? Because Flitwick is missing and that was the hardest hit place..

An entire wing to be excavated. Good god. I rather got chills as I read that, too. Pansy's injuries are strangely similar to Ron and Draco's, but McGonagall didn't say they were unrelated to the event. But Millicent seems to be fine, as she's not missing or injured.

Poor Cho!

And.. hee, Blaise is missing. *boggle* >P

"Parkinson, Pansy, sixth - Multiple contusions to back and upper arms. Broken ankle, healing. Minor head injuries. Currently resting."

I was not amused. I will have Greengrass' head on a plate. I'm sure M.B. would like it.

And Ron accusing them of being involved with Harry's disappeareance (if he's in fact disappeared). One hopes it's just the bad blood between them. That is, if one's in favor of Scorpio Nespoir's redemption >P

And Ron accusing them of being involved with Harry's disappeareance ...

Perhaps that was the reason for the beating when Ron saw Draco emerge unharmed after the explosion?

That's what I would hope, but Ron keeps accusing them and not bringing any sort of proof up. Perhaps it will still come out, but I'm starting to get afraid that he's simply panicked and paranoid.

I can certianly see 9/11 responses. From the "Where is X?" and distress that followed immediately, with people calling their friends in New York etc to the violent, irrational, unfounded and disgusting anger at and attacks on arab-americans. Let's just hope there's no PATRIOT act (though with the bloodthirsty savagery of wizards, they'll probably pay people for how many purebloods they kill).

Am I the only one noticing how Draco keeps bringing up (http://www.livejournal.com/community/nocturne_alley/162905.html?thread=1430617#t1430617) that "Potter isn't dead". He mentions it a few times. It seems almost like denial, and he refuses to believe anything like that could happen.

Found Ron's behavior to be very sweet too.

Yeah, and I noticed how he seems to be clinging to any idea that says that Harry's not dead. "well I didn't try to kill him, so he must be alive." Extreme cuteness.

I think she and Seamus and others are helping Madam Pomfrey now. As for where she was earlier, according to this, she was in her elective class. Arithmancy, perhaps?
