Hey everyone! Welcome to the Novak Djokovic community on LiveJournal.
Novak's Current Entry Ranking = 80
Nole's Next Tournament = Australian Open
Novak Djokovic is a new young Serbian tennis player destined to be the "next big thing". He qualified for the first three Grand Slams of the season, losing to Marat Safin in the Australian Open, double bagelling Ginepri at the French and having to retire against Guillermo Coria (while up a set), and getting to the third round of Wimbledon until losing a close 4-set match against Sebastien Grosjean. Good things are in the future for Novak, who just turned 18 this spring. He will be part of the generation that takes over as the "new balls" generation begins to move into the second halves of their careers.
So join and hop on the bandwagon early! Novak Djokovic is quickly rising up the rankings and is a star of the future :)
The only rules for this community are the following:
1) Please keep the conversation related to Novak (although if you want to talk about Tipsarevic or Pashanski that is also understandable since there is really no online forum at the moment to discuss their results... okay so basically keep it to Serbian tennis for now)
2) Please respect fellow community members. It is one thing to disagree and to debate and another to insult another member. Just keep it civil.
3) If you're posting more than one picture or LARGE pictures they MUST be behind an LJ-cut. See the LJ FAQ for how to do an LJ-cut.
4) If posting match results... please put them behind an LJ cut as well. While a majority of LiveJournal users are American, not everyone is, and different matches are televised in different countries.. no one likes results being ruined for them unexpectedly.
