I assume most of you know already, but Notsuoh reopened last night. It was a great time and there were certainly plenty of familiar faces.

This incarnation is a bar/cafe with the stage still present for bands. Anyways, I hope that everyone helps support the place in its continued evolution....

Does anyone know if Notsuoh is still open as a late night after hours bar? Does anyone know the artist who performed the song with the lyrics "Will you help me tie my shoes? Yes, I will help you tie your shoes"

I mentioned the time i fell in love at notsuohs so i figured id share some stories for those if y'all that's in tha know
so to say

I guess i should start by clarify i didn't meet this girl there, in fact i met her in Austin and she was visting me. We spent part of the night smoking and carousing downtown and we ended up there. i bought a pack of menthol cigarettes and a drink that the brand isn't quiet as significant to me. We played chess we kissed and we stayed there for hours. i dated her for along time. After awhile distance and my own ignorance destroyed it.

I guess you ask why i say i fell in love there? Cause it was at that moment above that chess board when lips locked that i realized and its that moment i can't forget

That and the mirror in the wall in the bathroom that said..

There is absolutely no inevitable as long as there is a willingness to contemplate what is happening

I spoke with Jim at the Art Crawl. He hasn't come to an agreement to sell notsuoH yet. He plans to reopen but hasn't decided whether or not to rent out the first floor.

Does anyone want to share a 20'x25'x14' space on the 4th floor of Francisco Studios (2300 McKinney at Dowling) with me? I've been living there since the second week of November. Your share of the rent would be $162.50.

Anybody know what's going on with Notsuoh? I haven't talked to Jim in quite some time. I walked past Nots last night and it appeared that there had been some work done, and a sign was in the window.

It was a notification that an application to sell alcohol had been applied for the location - under the name of Clark's Jewelry?!

I have no idea who Jim is renting it to, but a bar/jewelry store is definitely the idea of someone who must have been a regular. ;)

I'm definitely curious to know what is going on.

I heard from Glenn that Jim was talking to an architect about renovations, etc.

This is all second hand an very unconfirmed, but I thought I would get everyone else's hopes up as much as mine.

SHE'S FOUND

Happy happy, joy joy. I talked to Kasie's mom this evening, and she's found, safe and alive. She had been "missing" since 1AM Saturday night/Sunday morning, so while I apologize for the minor panic, it was fairly warranted. Thanks!

I don't know how many of you know Kasie, but she's missing, not calling in to work, etc. Her mom is very worried. If you know her or have heard from her since Saturday, please post here, or e-mail me--Melissa--at melissaanderson@ghg.net or lilly_anderson@hotmail.com. Preferably both, just in case.

"...a colonoscopy."

"Its 'Building a colonoscopy.'"

"Building a beer colonoscopy."

"This could hit someone or break a window."

"If it breaks a window, then we're fucked."

"From the second floor to the third, its a whole 'nother level of difficulty."
