Northeast Magnet High School for Science, Visual Arts, and Law has been actively engaged in comprehensive high school reform since its opening in 1990. Increased academic rigor of course work, increased graduation requirements, and high expectations for all students has been the cornerstone of student success. Instead of adhering to traditional school structure and methods, NEM faculty, parents, and partners have challenged the educational status quo, with great success.
