in this world of glorious yaoi jrock fan fiction I thought it about time to put some effort in a straight alternative. there is so much focus on love in today's fics, I find myself at times not far from another kiosk novelist. after all, is it not the bands and artists we love, and nay solely the perception of their pansy preferences? so this is my challenge; take away the focus from love and strive to find something deeper, and perhaps closer to the lives we admire.

this is not me banning homosexuality from this writer's community (I highly doubt I would be able to keep a straight face myself for any longer time anyhow) but I thought it would be an interesting project, as all other fan fic communities have gone from not necessarily gay to VERY gay, this would give us a good chance at putting some more focus on our fandoms as persons, musicians and men, rather than androgynous fuckhappy bunny boys (although those are charming).

+ no yaoi. this is still real life we're depicting, so don't get me wrong, everything must not be ALL STRAIGHT (god how boring) the 'no yaoi'-rule simply means that the focus on submitted fics shouldn't be 'he's gay and he's gay and now they're gay together smutsmut' ^____^ bottom line; characters can be however gay they want, as long as the storyline isn't focused on it. thus should any het fic submitted here not focus on a romantic plot either (and please restrain from writing mary-sues, yeah? /rather personal plead)

+ be nice. it's not hard; no flaming, no fan bitching, comment if you like, shut up if you don't... if there's a problem please come to me with it before starting something.

+ introductory posts are welcomed, and so are inputs to this community and its concept, per post in the comm or per mail. my inbox is nice and friendly; loftec304@yahoo.se

+ disclaimers and ratings. enclose disclaimers as default, rate if you feel you want to. I go by the following rating system;
->G kid stuff
->PG-13 chaste kissing, touching
->R kissing, swearing, beating, non-explicit sex
->NC-17 very explicit sex and violence
but if you want it some other way you're quite welcome.

+ submission. title and chapter number in the post's subject, the story must be under a cut.

+ authenticity and ownership. do not post anything that isn't yours, quite simple.
