AboutA community created to specifically showcase food photography.
Yes, there are already many "food photo" communities in existence, but most have been swept downhill. This is a place for those who value appealing, artful, and appetizing food photos - no dirty plates, frozen television dinners, or greasy nasty slop on a plate. Lets make this community a haven for scrum-diddly-umptious pictures that make us all proud to be a member.
Be considerate to your fellow members by using a lj-cut if you are posting any images larger than 600 pixels wide. Please also use a lj-cut if you are posting more than three consecutive photos in one post. Source any recipe(s) that are not your own, dont post photos that are not your own, and, above all - remember to enjoy yourself.
(A) This isnt a "rating" community like the original nonuglies community was. (The idea of using the term 'non uglies' was chosen with humour and jest.) All I ask is that you use common sense when deciding which photos to post and which to leave out of this community. There are plenty of other places around livejournal that would be welcoming of "less than appetizing" food photos. Having said that, I reserve the right to delete posts I feel dont belong here.
(B) Respect each other and play nice.
(C) Lets make this community a hub for great looking food and great food photography. Enjoy!
