AboutKnow the old adage 'If you have nothing nice to say - don't say anything at all'?
Well it don't apply here. We're not here to be nice, we're not here to stroke your ego.
What we are here for is constructive criticism.
If you post something here, it will be assumed that you want to know the bad as well as the good. There are plenty of other places you can show off your work if you only want to be told nice things about it.
Please do remember that 'that's cute' adds just as little as 'that's fugly' if you're going to post an opinion about someones work - back it up. Tell people what about it you like, and what you dislike and what you would have done differently.
A word from the maintainer
If you're old enough to be let out unsupervised on the Internet - you're old enough to deal with the consequences of your actions online. The maintainer would prefer if you act like an adult, I'm not your mother and it's not my job to protect you from things you might not want to hear.
This community relies much on self moderation by the membership. - The maintainer, ie. me, encourage the membership to speak up if someone's acting like a prat. Don't tell me, tell the one that fouled up, yes even if there already are 50 comments left by other people saying the same thing.
I am unlikely to interfer in squabbles between members unless they spill over to other threads or spawn new posts dedicated to drama.
Rules - yes there are some.
All images behind a cut - Don't know how to make an lj-cut? Find out, livejournal have an extensive FAQ that explains all these things.
Don't be an arse - If you need an explanation for this rule, just don't join this community in the first place.
No disabling of comments - This is a community, a tool for communication. If you don't want feedback don't post it here, it's as simple as that. Posts with comments disabled is a quick way get kicked out and banned. But really it'd just be easier for everyone if you just quit the community yourself.
No pimping - Have an ebay auction? Want to sell off some of your stash? Looking for donations? Don't tell us, we don't give a fuck. There's enough spam as it is. This community is not the place to advertise. If we were looking to buy whatever you're pimping - we'd go look for it. No need for you to come to us.
This is not a democracy, the rules are subject to change as the maintainer seem fit with no prior input or consultation from the community.
