AboutBDSM Non-Lifestylers is a community for anyone who is into bdsm but does *not* aspire to the 24/7 D/s lifestyle.
This is intended as a friendly discussion and support group, and all bdsm non-lifestylers are welcome here: dom(me), sub, switch, male, female, transgender, gay, lesbian, straight, bi - as long you are prepared to adhere to the few community guidelines we have.
You don't have to be actively involved in bdsm to join - those who are not in any kind of bdsm relationship or are just starting to explore their interest in bdsm are also welcome, as are friends and relatives who wish to be supportive. As long as you are prepared to respect the community guidelines and other members, you are welcome here.
NOTE: The topics discussed in this community may be considered inappropriate for underage readers.

- BDSM Non-Lifestylers supports the practice of Safe, Sane and Consensual bdsm. If you want to know more about this, there are many websites that deal with this topic, but I've chosen this one as a good place to start.
What you do with your own life is up to you, but we would ask you not to promote activities which are *not* safe, sane and consensual on this community. - Please behave in a considerate manner towards other members of this comunity. This is a place where people are welcome regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race or religion, and flames or bigotry will not be tolerated.
- Remember, not everyone will have the same tastes - please be tolerant of other people's preferences. If talking about an activity that may have limited appeal within the bdsm community, (for example, golden showers), it is probably best to put it behind a lj-cut.
- Please do not use this community to promote or enthuse about the 24/7 D/s lifestyle. This is a place where people can get *away* from the pressure to view this as their ideal. There are many other communities you can join where lifestylers are welome.
- Please do not spam this community with off-topic material!
