As the peasants and the bourgeoisie clamor with their dull voices for liberty, equality, and - whatever the ridiculous lower classes are whining about, the cream of society will gather for an evening of shimmering belle esprit, kick the severed heads to the edge of the dance floor, and while away the hours secluded from the shadow of the slack-jawed, mouth-breathing rebellion outside. There shall be wine, cakes, exquisite company, and superlative music as Shadow Gallery presents -

Put on your Collar and Cuffs and you Sunday Fetish Night Best 'cause We Wanna Know What You Would Do in the Dark?! Upstairs @ The Dragon's Den, Doors @ 11pm. DJs from Corrosion with Special Guest Niugnep!

We will be having prizes awarded throughout the night for best/sexiest/most ingenious Black Tie Attire, so dress like you mean it, besides that's part of the fun!

(And don't worry if you think you have nothing to wear-Try New Orleans Clothing Exchange in the 1200 Block of Decatur. They have just about everything at really good prices! But we will have a few black bow ties for those who need them.)

Bring a light source if you think you might want one, though we will have light sticks and such for everyone to play with as well. See you there!

Versailles will be here on their Broken Dolls tour.  You can check them out here.  Featuring New Orleans's own dark cabaret players, Morella and the Wheels of If.  DJs Tot Kuhjunge and Vendetta will spin Goth and swirl for an evening of decadence and dancing, at the HiHo Lounge at 2239 St. Claude Ave. at 9:00 p.m.  $10 at the door.

It's getting hotter outside. So to commemorate the beginning of summer we are having an Homage to Exhibitionism, an entirely clothing optional event! So we're all getting ready to bare all and hopefully you are too! And either way you are not going to want to miss this!

Summer is upon us yet again.

But, the eldritch and unspeakable forces that govern the New Orleans Goth Scene will emerge from the shadows in defiance of the light.  Grave things are afoot.

First, you can check out Corrosion every Sunday at the Dragon's Den, and they'll also be spinning in support of Combichrist on June 12th at the Hangar.  They will have tickets to give away this Sunday night, so come check it out.
