AboutThis is a community for people who like to share icons without the petty behaviour of other users. We're the people who understand that we're posting icons for others to use, out of kindness, and don't need to ask for comments or credit in return. Sure it's nice, but not necessary. We know we won't really care a year from now or even probably a few months from now about the icons we are posting, so why should we be petty about them? The only rules: that this is strictly an icon community, so please don't post anything else. Also, you may not ask for credit or comments if you put icons up here. That would be contradictory to the goal of this community.
I am NOT insulting people who like to ask for credit and comments. I'm just saying it leads to pettiness so often. I said 'without the petty behaviour of other users'. I didn't say that people who ask for comments or credit are petty. I am just saying that credit and comments are nice, and will probably be given anyway...but the drama starts with asking or expecting that sort of thing...and the goal of this journal is to avoid that.
One other thing: Even though credit and comments aren't necessary, we do ask that you don't claim you made icons that we made.
