oh my love eventually i will be untired enough for a real post (and real words!--says the girl going by "cynicalism.") for now, thank you for all the birthday greetings, on lj, on im, even some through the lj message system and-- fb! XD my birthday was a quiet affair, and i ate dinner by myself while watching a movie on my laptop (LOL :lame:), but my two other suitemates from last year came over at night with a homemade funfetti cake with (i think) creamcheese frosting. it is delicious. they are also making me dinner this sunday. ♥ also, my direct roomie is probably the most ridiculously cute person ever. oh my gosh she is so adorable. i didn't get to see her much all day (actually, i don't get to see her much most days) since she's a busybody and doesn't come back till late. but around twenty minutes before midnight she mutters, "...check your top drawer." and i'm like :blinkblink: and open it and--oh she is so cute there is a newspaper wrapped present tied with a gold bow and a hand-drawn card (that totally went up on my wall in a heartbeat). and she's just like, very monotoned, "apparently you don't check your drawers," and jsldkas she is so cute. she got me a copy of the little prince (which i have been meaning to read for ages and ages now) and a moleskin journal (which i have wanted just for the sake of having an infamous moleskin notebook)--only, i don't think i ever really mentioned any of that to her. she is clearly just amazing and ksadlasljad i love her. i love her a lot. i wish i wasn't so LAME and actually packed her present like i thought i did. sigh. i am still upset over this. but anyway, mostly i just wanted to say thank you. i love you all so much you don't even know. ♥ Current Mood:  touched |

Biorhythm Man, getting good comments really makes me want to keep writing. I need to finish those Phoenix Wright fics soon, so I can post them and start some more in-depth planning for my NaNo novel. I really hope this novel is going to turn out to be as epic as I'm planning it to be. All I'm sure of now is that it's going to have some fantasy and mythology elements thrown in, it will be post-PW3, it will ignore the fourth game, and Matt Engarde will be featured prominently along with our cast of regulars. Yes, I think Matt's going to fit perfectly with the theme I have in mind. Also making appearances will be Ron and Dessie, because there's got to be some reason why Ron was actually able to break in to places and steal stuff, and because come on, they're too cute not to at least show up for a few pages. I think my biorhythm's off today. I hate it when I have a day where I don't really have a lot of energy and I don't quite feel like doing anything. Nothing's wrong, per se, but I'm not being productive and it makes me feel kinda down. It's odd to think about, but it seems like I can't ever be just okay; either I'm energetic and feeling good and productive or I'm lethargic and feeling bad about it. Where did the middle ground go? Maybe I should go back to the stuff I studied on Buddhism in that world religions class; I could use a little Middle Way. I realize this is probably something of a lost cause on a site as big as LiveJournal, but I'm still gonna feel compelled to ask it every once in a while: Anyone living near Dayton want to come and hang out with me? oh kame "I like sunflowers..... because you can eat the seeds!"there were quite some funny scenes but... other than that.... it was a sad dorama towards the end ;_; based on a true story Q_Q kame played his role as yuuki very well and shun as the cool guy hama was <3 too the last 20 minutes I nearly constantly cried ;____; I think the first really heartbreaking scene was the one where yuuki admitted that he fears the darkness... and especially the one with the signboard,... where yuuki was already blind and proudly showed his friends that he can tell who is where on the signboard they made for him with photos of themselves... and then hama-chan brought his picture a bit belated and ...*sobs* they put it on the signboard and yuuki tried to feel it with his fingers and was really happy .... TT______TT it was so touching how he didn't stop moving his hands over the signboard while hama-chan was showing the picture he brought to junji and yoshie and he was listening to their conversation, curious about the photo~ ( pictures from the signboard scene )ah mou...... *sobs some more* Current Mood:  sad |

Good Morning, World! I'm Alive As what the title said... HELLO ALL, I'M ALIVE!!! ...Just in case you're wondering XD Shocking to know that I've only posted like, five times this year, all in January. Many things have happened to me and yes, I was pretty busy. And what bothers me is the fact that during my spare time, which were really slim, I had no urge to update my LJ. I simply used them to, well...rest and sleep. Not very productive nor useful :/ Thus now I feel really bad because it made me missed lots and lots about you all, my LJ friends. And that's not good. So...now I'm adjusting myself with LJ again. It's been quite a long time for me, and posting doesn't seem as easy as it used to be. But I'm slowly coming back, yeah :D I missed you guys a lot!!! Finally got around to listening to Younha's 2nd album.
Of course, I had to start with the song that Tablo was featured on. I think they mesh so well together, doing features on each other's stuff and having those weird live perfs together.
The original version of 기억 is damn pretty enough but the rap mix version so so absolutely fucking gorgeous. The transition from the soft soulful bit into the more passionate part works so well, the lyrics are so pretty, and Tablo's bit only reinforces my belief that hiphop should be paired with gorgeous female vocals more often.
Has incited me to go on a translating spree, japanese vocab quizzes be damned.
And...
While waiting for my iTunes to kick itself in the ass and start working again, I started the KCE: World Series movie- had been waiting for awhile for it to get subbed.
I didn't expect it to start out with a korean version of KCE with all the characters having accents from, it sounds like, Busan and being so terribly k-drama melodramatic. God I love it. |

Detalles* Título: 先生はエライっ！ / Sensei wa Erai! * Título español: ¡El maestro es genial! * Género: Drama * Episodios: 1 (Especial) * Emisión: 12/04/2008 * Horario: Sábado 21:00 - 22:54 En este especial, podemos deleitarnos con las actuaciones de Arioka Daiki, Chinen Yuri, Nakajima Yuto y Yamada Ryosuke, los cuales interpretan a unos estudiantes de llamativas personalidades. Es un especial bastante bien presentado, a pesar de ser de sólo un capitulo (lo cual es una lástima), desarrolla muy bien a los personajes. La trama parece al comienzo sencilla: Souta (Nakajima), envidioso y molesto con Guunjou (Yamada) un ex compañero que ahora asiste a la escuela privada, le miente diciéndole que su malhumorado profesor de inglés es el mejor, Guunjou, quizás sospechando del engaño, quiere conocer al profesor, cosa que pone a Souta, Rin y Wataru en un aprieto, del que creen que saldrán, haciendo que su profesor cambie, pero este tiene otra idea en la mente. Es un especial que los hará reir sin duda, pero da un vuelco ya casi en la mitad, llevandonos de golpe y porrazo al drama, que a pesar de ser repentino, no queda mal en un especial de sólo 1 hora con 33 minutos. Destacable es una de las escenas finales, dónde el personaje de Yuto le arrancará las lágrimas a más de alguna de nosotras. Recomendable. Reparto- Nakajima Yuto como Matsuki Souta

One of the movies he played in? NED KELLY. HE PLAYED ALONGSIDE HEATH LEDGER, ORLANDO BLOOM, NAOMI WATTS, AND GEOFFREY RUSH.
