I went to the DC show last week (and have to say it was probably one of the most shows I had ever been to). They did a pretty long set (including "Ram it Home"!!) and I just wanted to share pics with anyone who wants to see. enjoy

Sad thing is, I have it straight from the source that the guys are pretty burnt out and probably won't be touring for a while. *cries*

...but can we just appreciate how fantastically nice this band is? I won tickets to the last show of the Kings of Leon tour at an in-store yesterday afternoon, but wasn't sure to get there because I don't have a car at college and none of my friends would go with me. So, Chris and Keith offered to let me go to the venue with them in their van, and of course I accepted. It was kind of awkward, but also super awesome. The show was great, and I hope they come back to Nashville again sometime soon!

I wish I was kidding when I say this was my best picture. I didn't get any pictures with them, oh well.
Just out of curiousity, have they habitually been country-fying their songs recently, or was this just for Nashville?

The student-run radio station actually did something useful today - they brought We Are Scientists for a short semi-acoustic set. No one was really there, they didn't draw more than about 10 or 15 people and the event was poorly advertized.
I ended up missing the first half of the set, but I did catch the end. Chris mentioned how "After Hours" was their latest "smash radio hit" and then - and I'm unsure if we're to take this seriously or not - mentioned that "Lethal Enforcer" will be their next.
I didn't get any pictures. HOWEVER, because I'm the arts editor at the Towson University-based newspaper, I did score an interview with Keith and Chris. Both are incredibly nice and fun to talk to. I'm writing up a feature on them and their Towson appearance for Thursday's issue (we're twice-weekly. I'll post a link to the online article here then).
My photographer also did me a favor and took a photo of me talking to Keith.

my friend asked me to make her a specific .gif a few days ago, so I decided to make a few more...

when I've made .gifs before, I never really bothered to make sure that they would fit on LJ, because I don't use it that often, but I decided if I'm going to post them on here I might as well try to make them fit. I think all but two are small enough for LJ. please, thieve them. :)

So...if there was the tiniest, itiest, bitiest chance that I got a chance to interview We Are Scientists, what would you want me to ask them?
This isn't for sure, because I'm still talking to the record company people, and it's a big hassles, but if it did happen, I realized today that I would have no idea what to ask them that wasn't dull and boring and that everyone had heard before.
But still-going to my first show Sunday!!! So excited.
