AboutOkay calling all prospective members! Please listen up!
First off, you guys need to know that I am very flattered that you'd like to read or watch my stuff. And of course there is a 'but'...
I lock my lj/community, for a reason and that is I want/need control over who sees my stuff, for both personal and professional reasons. I therefore check the lj of every person that requests membership.
After a recent influx of requests I needed to reject, I decided to give a bit of a criteria, so you all might understand.
It's really basic. IF your 'user info' page is blank/bare or if you have 'never' updated, it is likely that I will reject you. It's not that I want to snub you, but I also have no clue who you are. Or if you are who you say you are. Get the picture?
Also... If your gonna join, I'd like you to give me a little spiel as to why, here? And if the reason is for a particular fic... then pleaseeeeeeeee at least comment on that fic.
I have had so many people friend/join here, lately, but then I never hear from them again. *cries*
So...
"I saw your fic posted here, etc... Or I like your vidding or ...'
I'd just like to know a bit about the people that are reading my stuff. *smiles and takes deep breath.* Sorry for the rant.
