I decided to create [info]nirvanaicons because I've seen so many great Nirvana graphics throughout livejournal. So I figured, why not have a community where they can all be placed? So, here it is. This community is maintained by Elizabeth [[info]slightlymorbid]. Oh yea, new Co-Mod! Her name is Liz [[info]banoogles], and she's just as awesome as me. :]





1. Credit. You MUST credit when using someone's graphics. Not only is it polite, but it acknowledges the person who put their hard work into creating something to share with others. Also, to make it easy on everyone, credit for icons need to be placed in keywords. 2. Comment! People like to know who's using their graphics, and they also like to know what you think of them. Remember: always be polite. 3. NO hotlinking. If you take/use a graphic, save and upload them to YOUR OWN server. This saves tons of bandwith for the makers. Some great imagehosting sites are Photobucket and ImageShack. 4. NO stealing. Stealing will NOT be tolerated. If a maker notices someone has stolen a graphic or taken credit for it themselves, they may take it up with the user or notify me. You will be warned ONCE, and if it happens again, you will be banned. 5. Requests. You may request icons, but I'm not guaranteeing the request will be filled. If someone decides to fill the request, be sure to credit them. 6. No advertising. Just don't do it. To the makers: 1. This community is NOT limited to just icons. You may post any Nirvana-related graphics. 2. Post large graphics under an lj-cut. I'm sure you have good enough judgement as to what's too big and what's not. 3. If you are posting more than 4 icons, place them behind an lj-cut. 4. Post teasers! You may put up to 4 teasers and place the rest behind a cut. 5. No graphics of Courtney Love or Frances Bean unless Kurt is in the picture with them. This is not a Courtney/Frances community. 6. Absolutely NO graphics that suggest or pertain to Nirvana slash. IT'S WRONG. 7. NO icons relating to Kurt's "murder." We all have our opinions about his death, and frankly I don't care about yours and I'm sure others don't as well. So any icons that say "MURDERED" [yes, I have seen those] etc, or icons that suggest that Courtney killed him, will not be tolerated.

YOU BREAK ANY RULES, YOU GET BANNED. PERIOD.
