Hello everyone~
I'm sorry to have been so absent lately, but I have been watching, making sure things are getting taken care of. Although the challenges seem like a moot point lately, it's still something I'm trying to think of how to fix. So far I gather, our lovely writers enjoy broad prompts, and letting readers vote for prompts is stupid. I'll see what I can do about all of this in the near future.
Anyway. I actually have several things to announce with this post..
First off, from now on we are only accepting NC-17 rated art if livejournal cuts are used, thus locking the entries to our eyes only only. This also applies to posting doujins and links to doujins and H-art websites, etcetc. I've updated the rules in the community info to reflect this decision. I'm sorry to do this, but I'm quite fond of this community (and I like to think you all are too), and I'd rather not see us go down in flames like Lj has done to so many other good communities in the last half of a year or so. It is good to note though, that LJ's ToS is only targeting art, and not fanfiction. So, we can still openly accept NC-17 rated fanfics with people of all ages. However, it is probably still in our best interest to use a lj-cut, even for fanfiction, just to be safe from the banhammer. Therefore, I will be removing any NC-17 content that does not follow this rule. If you have posted something in the past that is NC-17, and you haven't locked it, I'd appreciate it if you could go back, find it, and do so.
In short, friends-only lock your NC-17 fanworks and LABEL THEM PROPERLY, or I'll remove them.
Second on the agenda is that I would like to announce three new communities run by Chelsie and myself; ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) miatorlove (Shizuma/Nagisa, moar Strawberry Panic :D), kagamin (Konata/Kagami, Lucky Star), and ienaikotoba (Shion/Mion, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni). Please support our work and join these communities if you ship these couples. New members and new content is very much needed.
Last and final (I swear), I have recently opened a large collection of blog crews over here. I'm hosting a number of different animes and video games, as well as other things, so go ahead and check it out, there are ninety-seven different crews to choose from, and Strawberry Panic is one of many of them, so go and grab some claims while they're hot!

Yaya and Hikari is my fav characters in SP! (... maybe because they reminds me of me and someone else -_-; heh). But I love them!

Deadline: Midnight Friday, September 8th, EST. Feel free to submit anything before then.
Guidlines: All the normal comm rules are included in this. No word limits. If you're submitting something, make the subject of the post [Challenge #1 Entry], please.
There will be voting the Saturday and Sunday after the deadline, and the winner will get to choose the next prompt word~ :D
Also, you are permitted to submit artwork or graphics or AMVs if you so choose; just as long as you use the pretty prompt. :D |

Okay, so I don't make the most sensical posts at...
...Well it's 3 now too, but I'm more awake.
The 'contest' I was referring to is something I've been running in both other comms I do with Amie-chan (and in one of them, with the rest of the Omei family~)!
Basically, there is a prompt every two weeks; entries must follow all normal comm rules, but can be anything from drabbles to fics to icons to art to amvs, should anyone choose to enter such. :D
Contests start always on a monday, and end the friday after the friday after that. :D It's a two-week submission period. Then there's voting the Saturday and Sunday afterwards; the winner choose the next prompt, I post it, and we begin again.

I don't have a lot to say here other than that I love yuri, I love Strawberry Panic and I love Yaya-chan and Hikari-chan ^_^ their relationship is so interesting to me... it makes me happy and sad both at once though I don't know if that makes sense?
It made me very happy to see that there is a community for them, I hope I'll be able to make friends here ^_^ |
