hey i went to an aar concert last night.
and this radio pop festival thingieee
and i won front row tickets and backstage passes.
they were really good, even though it was my 3rd time seeing them live.
i met them backstage and didnt get any pictures but i did talk
to tyson and nick. they are very funny. and very sweet.
tyson asked me if i modelled, and he was a sweetheart.
and nick was making fun of the click 5 (they were playing too).
i have some picture of them on stage...

Hey everyone! I'm new. I'm one of the more recent AAR fans in the world, and I just got into their music, and I absolutely fell in love with the Little-Puppy-Lost-Nick look in the Move Along video, and I just wanted to say hey.

i've loved him/aar since the first album came out... saw them in concert in october '04... kind of got out of the swing of things by 'move along'. but i still love AAR.

let's see i poast in the other guys comm's why not nick's?

i know pretty much his entire life story and i know he is basically the reason this band exists. so let's all stop for a pat on the back for that k.

i was realllly young when i first got into this band, i don't know why entirely, but he always really influenced me heavily. especially musically. bands he listens to, similar bands to aar, and everything that branches off from there. i can now say i've heard a fucking ton of different kinds of music and have a decent opinion on music itself.

most importantly, he inspired me to pick up a guitar. i just dreamed about what playing would be like for months until i got my brother's old one, collecting dust. it's not a very good quality guitar but i'll keep it forever.

and knowing that he has gotten somewhere out of the same little town i grew up in, makes me keeping playing even when my fingers sting and burn.

i have to say i respect him an awful lot, regardless of 'favourites'

ps~ please join the other guys comm's as well, you know you've been neglecting them so dooo it

went to guitar center earlier. amazing place let me tell you. all of these crazy people were shredding up on guitars. just like heaven

so i saw...

that bass in red...

if you can see it...

i saw that one...not exactly the same

and that one in the accoustic section. haha.

there was a guy playing one similar to that one and i was like...hey he's just as good as esteban! hahaha

and...

just kidding. i didn't see that one. but i really like this picture. :-D

we also went to another guitar store and i was amazed at the beautifulness of all of the bass guitars!...and then everyone else was like...eww bass guitars...gosh. those losers.

i wanted to be like, you suck.

there was this one silver guitar that was on the wall, and it was basically hanging on buy a thread and all the guys were like, "OMG SAVE IT SAVE IT!" and then they fixed it and this one guy was like, "it would've been heartbreaking to see that fall"

gosh i love those guitar people. so cool. i think that was the best place i've ever been. it was so amazing to hear them all play. i don't know what i'd do if i ever went to a live aar show. probably have a heart attack.

there was a man there who was wearing jeff spicoli shoes and i was talking to my dad about it later...and he was like "oh yeah the drummer from cheap trick used to wear those shoes...but i doubt you know who cheap trick is."
but i came back at him with, "YES I DO! NICK WHEELER FROM THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS HAS ONE OF THEIR SHIRTS!" but i think he tuned me out at the all american rejects

we also passed a tower records store that i wanted to bust into because they have band zines. but my dad wanted to "beat the traffic" and get home.

Okay. I have another story.

It's the night of November 30th 2005. I am all excited because I told Nick I'd be there so I was a little bouncy because I knew he'd be waiting for me. lmao. Anyways show was amazing blah blah blah and then during one of the songs Nick and I locked eyes and he nodded at me and smiled. I probably had a doofy smile on my face after that. It probably happened atleast a dozen more times in the show and he winked at me a few times. Uh yeah best night ever~. Cept I didn't get to go to the meet&greet cuz my ride would of left without me.

But the next day when I was at school I had a nice message for me. Which made missing the meet and greet okay.

Great seein' ya last nite! Even if it was just from the crowd...ha! Anyway...it was fun havin' you in the front row...thanks for comin'! Hope to see you again soon...
