Manages the odd feat of being simultaneously less slashy than the show (this is scorching UST and clueless Merlin is brilliant) whilst also removing the ambiguity (Arthur may not be clueless but is possibly in denial). Regardless of pairing, the banter between the two is spot-on, nothing like constant put-downs and backhanded insults to make an OTP sail true :)

I was about to head up the wooden hill only to get distracted at the last moment by this interview with the Merlin cast.

Ah, the loveliness. ASH having a ball at getting to swan around in cloaks and be a "complete b*stard". You have Richard Wilson hoping that one day kids won't recognise him because they won't be expecting him to be bald.

But of course, it was a throwaway line from Colin Morgan (Merlin) that made me fluff up with geeky happiness. He was talking about the similarities between himself and Merlin, namely how they'll both give 100% to whatever challenges come their way. For example...( SPOILER for a future scene from some unspecified future ep... )

Right, and now it really is late and I must work again tomorrow. Bah! Goodnight, world.

Is there any other kind of clown in fiction that isn't evil?  Good god, I might as well be developing a new fear.  The new girl, Rani (really now, couldn't they think of another name?), is mostly okay; though she seems to overuse her eyebrows a bit too much -- and not necessarily in a good way.  Oncoming srs bsns face!

I have a new duvet.  It's so great I'll just sleep on it.  Maybe.

When maudelynn and I were at Next to Nature yesterday we saw a lovely black kitty who was up for adoption. She looked very depressed and I imagine she will have a hard time being adopted because she has some peeing problems.

From her Petfinder page: Billie and her siblings were rescued as feral kittens several years ago. All were tamed and adopted. Mom was spayed. Billie was recently returned to us because she was urinating in the house and her parents were divorcing. Billie has made another visit to the vet to see if we can clear up her urinary tract infection.

However, the Petfinder page neglects to mention that her foster person has discovered that Billie's 'problem' seems to be that she needs a very clean litter box. There is also no photo of the lovely lady. She reminds me very much of Spain the Cat, though all black (Ms. Spain has a chocolate brown undercoat).

She is such a sad thing; I do hope she is adopted soon.

Side note: their guitarist (no idea what his name is, the one above the cut) is adorable. I only know this from having nothing to do for an hour so my gaze would occasionally wonder over to him sitting on the floor with a group of friends in the crowd. And I kept seeing him everywhere; inexplicably, while I was trying to squeeze out of Webster Hall, he made his way through the throng in the opposite direction right past me.

Tomorrow I'll make a post so we can figure out what to do for Franz day on Wednesday. :)

Thus ends my Kills debauchery. And that's for all of you who couldn't be there (which is a whole lot of you, I should know ;)). Night the second was infinitely better than night the first. I think Jamie was smiling down at me and I tried to get a picture, but was feeling too dopey to take it right (here's the effort anyhow).

I've come to two conclusions (photography-wise) stage-right is my friend. And so is my 50mm prime.

Night the first talked with a girl who moved from Florida and gave her my email. Chatted a bit with the guy who bought my extra ticket (no one to take my +1 ;__;). Night the second chatted with the security guard at the bar area entrance; he called me his "friend from the other night." All I did was ask about the stage being open. :P He shall be working Franz, so fingers crossed! The photographer next to me told me he was baffled why I had a polarizer on my lens (I wasn't too pleased at being critiqued so offhandedly, but was he right about it being a stupid move?). But then we got to talking after the opener and all was good. Gave him my web site address. Then another girl standing next to me asked if the photos were going online. I said yes, but I never had a chance after the show to give her a URL...

Methinks I need some business cards. Moo, here I come.

Anyway, I'm way past my bedtime and I've got another show tomorrow. Oy.
