AboutThis is a community for FFVII spoof character journals. Currently we have a Vincent(me!), Cloud, Cid, Reno, Rufus, Red XIII, Hojo, Sephiroth, Yuffie, and Scarlet. All other characters are unclaimed.
I haven't heard from the person who wanted to play Aeris in weeks, so Aeris is now officially UNCLAIMED.
-NOT ACCEPTING NEW CHARACTERS AT THIS TIME-
You can ask me for a character if you like, but frankly a lot of our players have taken off temporarily, so there's no point bringing anyone new in until they come back--nothing is happening.
Community Rules:
1) If you're not participating in the spoof journals, DO NOT POST TO THE COMMUNITY. You can leave comments on other people's posts, but DO NOT MAKE POSTS YOURSELF. The community is for players only.
EDIT: Also, since it doesn't seem to be obvious enough...people who are NOT running spoof journals are welcome to read the spoof journals of all our characters, but PLEASE do not comment on character entries. It's very jarring to the game.
2) You have to ask me before you're allowed to start playing a character in the community. Why? Mainly to keep a character from getting double-booked. So before you go to all the trouble of making a character journal, ASK ME IF THEY'RE AVAILABLE. Also, please ask me either on my own personal journal, through email, or via instant messaging--don't ask on the community, a member's journal, or any other creative places.
3) The only time a character is allowed to be serious is--like in Vincent's case--when the seriousness actually makes posts funny. This is spoofing, after all; serious roleplay is nice, but that's not what we're here for. XD
4) If, for whatever reason, you don't get along with another player, KEEP IT OOC. And keep it reasonable, if you can--and FOR GOD'S SAKE, do NOT spam someone's personal journal because you don't get along with them here. I've had enough trouble with player disputes in the past that if I find people war-mongering here, I'm quite likely to ban someone. So play nice. *sparkle*
5) For the record, NO, you do not have to create a separate character journal from your main journal if you want to play. You can post your character's posts here on the community, or you can post them on your own journal with filters(if you have a paid account), or you can just comment on everyone else's entries & not actually have your character keep their own journal. So long as you're active & everyone's having fun, that's enough for me--this is meant to be very informal.
However, if you don't make your own character journal to post under, I have to ask you to use a character-specific icon so we know when you're in character.
6) Anything funny is allowed. That means ANYTHING. So homosexuality, swearing, heterosexuality, humorous references to rape(Vincent in particular has a running joke where he wonders why all these people draw doujinshi of his teammates raping him), etcetera--it's all allowed. If you're too young for that sort of thing, or you're offended by it, then you shouldn't be here. If you shouldn't be here, & you COMPLAIN TO ME about it, then I shall mark you as an idiot & ban you for your own safety.
7) People who do NOT have separate character journals should post to the community. Those of you that do have separate character journals, post your stuff on there--there's no need to cross-post. ^_^ People can just check the community friends list for your posts.
