I hate Getty and it's stupid watermarks. Half of the pictures of Sid an Alex were covered with them. The pictures of Alex weren't so bad, but the insanely sexy pics of Sid had a watermark splashed across his face, so I had to make due with what I could do.

Whee, been a while. Finally got that Oilers bar done. :p
And to whoever thought that the green/red of the Wild uniforms was a good idea--you were wrong! Bad.

Other post was getting rather image-heavy, so here's this. I'll edit/update until I've got 6 teams (meaning about 12 banners) per post.

Again, the dealie: making 'Is Love' colorbars for all the NHL teams and would love if you'd let me know which players you think represent your team/are associated with your team. I could still use help in that department; all input welcome! And now that I think about it, color, too. Purple goes with the Kings, red for the Red Wings, green for the Stars, etc.
Like for the Sabres--what color would you say they are currently? Black? Baah, stupid NHL changing the colors...
(If you'd REALLY love an 'oldstyle' colorbar, drop some names and the colors, and maybe a linkie to a picture of the old emblem, and I might get on 'em eventually. I have love for the classics too!)

Hullo, me again to bug people.

After some interest (and, admittedly, having nothing better to do and being bored out of my skull) I'm going to do 'Is Love' colorbars for all 30 NHL teams so people can use 'em, abuse 'em, do anything they like - unfortunately, I don't know all the teams very well. I usually use 'face' players in the images; you know, faces of the franchise, ones who you associate with your team. For example, Luc Robitaille is with the Kings, and Stevie Y with the Red Wings.

(okay, now I'm just being weird...)

Wow, my idea seems to have caught on; people are being extremely helpful. Thank you! I'll get on your team ASAP. :)

i would love it if someone could make me an icon of this pic of chelios.
if you could cut out the background and have just him & the cup, that would be great.
with maybe the red wing logo or something like it as the background.
(it's up to you and your creative juices)
maybe have chelios and/or 24 somewhere on there.
if possible maybe a little animation of some sort.
doesn't have to be complicated or too flashy (read: seizure inducing)

if you can do this for me, not only will i credit you (of course) but i will love you forever!!
