In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: Ambition, Independence, Slyness, Loyalty towards your friends.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why: Slytherins are always the bad guys. I think it's not fair to judge them without considering the other side. As an example you may take the situation before the battle of Hogwarts. Noone offered the Slytherins to actually join the "good" side and fight against the Dark Lord while among the Death Eaters were many friends and family members of the Slytherin students. Therefore I think it's quite natural that they chose to leave. It's always been everyone against them and I hardly doubt they believed they would be honestly welcomed in the DA or similar groups.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin: I think I'm a two-sided person. There's the real me and the person I often use in public. It's quite easy for me to put on a mask and appear like a shy, polite, helpful and charming little girl to get my way. I'm intelligent and know my strengths and weaknesses, and I know how to overcome them. I tend to use people for my purposes, which doesn't mean that I don't feel any affection for them. I'm loyal towards my friends and family, but if someone gets in my way I know no pity. I can be as arrogant as hell if I don't like someone and this person has no use for me. I have standards. I don't have to stand everyone just because they would like me to. I decide by myself which people I allow around myself. I'm independent and prefer doing things on my own because I hate people telling me what to do. Especially if they think they can order me around and have no idea what they're actually talking about. Furthermore I tend to be impatient with incompetent and stupid people, they only waste my time. Time is precious because I'm ambitious concerning things I care about, and I want to be the best at those activities.

Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like: A couple of years ago we had a teacher at school who was disliked by the whole class. She was incompetent and gave grades according to whether she liked a student or not. The latter was normally the case. I didn't learn anything new that year and I honestly wanted to throw my history book at her because she was such a fool. Instead I was polite, greeting her with a smile every time I saw her and tried to charm her. It seemed to work. I got the best grade of the whole class. Some of my fellow students accused me of being fake afterwards, but honestly, I don't care. There's no point in ruining your average just because you can't stand a teacher.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct: I guess there are a few, but I'd say Think before you act. And be aware that sometimes it's better to keep your thoughts to yourself instead of blurting them out..

If you couldn't be in Slytherin, which other house would you be in, and why shouldn't you be in that house in the first place: Although it might sound contrary: Gryffindor; because somehow they follow their own rules to be able to do want they want. But I think Gryffindors tend to be too bold and act before thinking, which is not quite my way.

Explain in less than 500 words why you wish to join slytherin: I've never considered joining another house because I've felt some kind of bond with Slytherin from the beginning. And if the Sorting Hat would ever dare sending me to a different house I would open the depths of hell for him. From joining this community I hope to meet other people who share the same principles in life and who feel the same affection towards the house of Slytherin as I do.

Websites or similar that have sorted you into Slytherin: Better to ask which haven't sorted me into Slytherin. I've taken just about every quiz out there. Most recently, I've really liked this test, and some Myers-Briggs I found on Quizilla which had extremely accurate descriptions.

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: Honestly, I feel that a lot of Slytherin traits can apply to many of the houses. However, I believe it's the right combination of traits that gives someone the ability to get by in this house. Being manipulative, sly, and tactful, which all require a certain degree of intelligence. Subtlety, ambition (obviously), passion, and ruthlessness (and I say ruthless in the nicest way possible). A Slytherin should definitely have the strength of character to recognize their duty and doing whatever necessary to succeed, whilst maintaining a realistic vision of the outcomes and their effects on themselves and those they care about. Maintaining a strong hold over themselves in order to map out actions with precision and skill. And finally, having that most innate of instincts: survival.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why: I'll take a risk and go away from the obvious ones here and try to make a different point... I think people tend to look at all Slytherins as being one in the same, especially as far as cruely. Like you've met one Slytherin, you've met them all, which is far from true. Some Slytherins are cruel, yes, but that is because they lack other traits to make up for it. I want to make it clear that Slytherins vary in personality as much as any other person from any other house. We have such a strong stereotype to our name that I think some Slytherins feel the need to live up to them. While others, like myself, strive to make their own stereotypes. So yeah, I suppose my final answer is that people tend to assume all Slytherins are alike.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a slytherin: I am ambitious, driven, and intelligent (because let's face it, who wants a house full of Crabbes and Goyles? Ravenclaw didn't get all the brains...). I'm independent and loyal to those who are loyal to me (i.e. myself). I've learned from experience not to trust anyone or rely on anyone. I know what I want to do in life, and I don't care what I have to do to get there. I have extremely strong morals and opinions that I do not compromise for anyone. I am great at strategizing and have extremely high standards, which can sometimes be hard for people to meet. I'm confident in my abilities, and can be seen as elitist and impatient, especially with incompetent people, but I can be charming when I'm in the mood to impress. I can sell myself well and I also know myself well. I know that I'm not the nicest or best of people, but I'm completely fine with that. It's life. I don't expect everything to be all rainbows and sunshine. I actually prefer life the way it is.

Describe something you’ve done that you consider Slytherin-like: <-- Haven't I already talked about stereotypes? Well, I'll answer anyway. I have a carefully constructed and meticulously upheld public persona. Very few people know me outside of my "public mode" and even when relaxed, I still keep careful track of what I say or how I act. I feel that pretty much everything I do in life, I do solely for my own advancement. There is nothing that I take part in 'for the hell of it.' If I help someone with their homework or project, they better believe they're never gonna forget it. If I offer to "help" someone learn dance choreography, it's so I look better, not because I care whether they do. I make sure I get my voice heard, but in not in a rash, careless way like a Gryffindor, but in subtle, calculated ways (i.e. I never speak aloud on accident). I've also studied a bit of psychology, so needless to say a day is not complete unless I manipulate someone into doing something using my wit and tact. I'm very good at reading people, so I always store up more knowledge of them than they think I do. And yeah, it definitely gives me a bit of leverage. Also, I love showing signs of "weakness" and "vulnerability" because it usually means that whoever I'm showing them to will trust me more, and think they have a better understanding of me.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin’s code of conduct: Needless to say, I think a Slytherin's moral code is a little different than other peoples'. For example, I find a lack of intelligence harder to tolerate than a lack of kindness. I think each Slytherin has their own "code" but for the sake of the question, I will say this: A Slytherin should always be aware that everything they say or do can be used against them. But it can also be used for them. If they go in knowing that one thing, I think that alone should be motivation enough to behave appropriately.

If you couldn't be in Slytherin, which other house would you be in, and why shouldn't you be in that house in the first place: I'm an intellectual so it's only natural for me to be in Ravenclaw. I'll rub my own scales here and say I'm extremely intelligent. However, I don't think smarts is all it takes, and I think I wouldn't be able to handle Ravenclaw because personalities would clash too much. My priorities would undoubtedly be different, because, while I care about schooling, it's never more important that what I personally want for myself. And as far as the other two houses go: I don't think I understand Hufflepuff enough to judge, and in Gryffindor's case, I would like to think I have a little more going for me than heroism and boldness.

Explain in less than 500 words why you wish to join slytherin: I'm hoping that this community turns out to be an interesting experience, and a way for me to further learn about myself and my house. I also know from extensive psychoanalysis that I truly belong to this house. Besides, I refuse to accept any others.

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: Most certainly, ambition. And the determination to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals, no matter what they may be. I think these are important because otherwise, you're just the same as the rest, thinking that things are just going to come to you rather than working towards them.
I believe that intelligence is also required to a certain degree, because one needs to be able to know what to do and when to do it if they want to succeed.
Lastly, I think that a Slytherin should be able to take care of themselves in the end. Preservation- because once you're at the top, you have to fight to stay there. And there's a high possibility that everyone around you has the same goals in mind, so you need to be able to look out for yourself.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why: This is probably going to be tediously cliche, but not all Slytherins are cruel and manipulative. One can work very hard to reach ambition and get there without sneaky, controlled tactics, thanks. Some people also seem to be under the impression that Slytherins simply follow their ancestors, implying that they do what they do just because they were told to.
Also, it's stereotyped to a certain degree that the only reason Slytherins even talk to anyone is because they want connections, and for no other reason. I resent that because it implies that we don't like people for who they are [which is not always the case].

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin: I believe that I'm ambitious. And I'll definitely do whatever it takes to rise above everyone around me, and this may sound inhumane, but personally, if the people around me get hurt by me, I don't see it as my fault. I’ll feel bad for them, of course, but it’s not my fault they weren’t looking out for themselves.

Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like: I'll be honest- I had to lie to the nun/principal of my old school to get her to write a letter of reference for me, telling her it was for volunteer work, which I used to get a job that I like rather than working some paper-route or at a fast food place like most fourteen-year-olds.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct:
- Be determined to reach any goal. Even if it's something easy.
- Have your own sense of morality, because what tends to happen is- people get what they want, they tend to go further, not caring about consequences and the impact it may have, which in the end destroys all that they worked to create.
- Never be influenced by others [stubbornness, to a degree]. If you think that someone has something worthwhile to say, think about it before you make a choice.
- A sense of self. Never lose yourself along the way.

If you couldn't be in Slytherin, which other house would you be in, and why shouldn't you be in that house in the first place: I think I'd probably be in Ravenclaw, because I'm fairly book smart. They obviously have a thirst for knowledge, but what makes Slytherin goes beyond. And Ravenclaw’s might have the knowledge, but they don’t necessarily take advantage of it.

Explain in less than 500 words why you wish to join slytherin: It would be interesting to see what would happen if people that had the same sense of personalities come up with. Also, the idea of having discussions with people who are the same, yet not, appeals to me.

I think I'm not surprising you if I say that the first stereotype about Slytherins that I believe is unfair is that there are only pure-blooded wizard in this house. The story already proves the contrary.
But I must confess that I always believed in Harry Potter. I think it's wrong to affirm that every slytherin has to be against good and against Potter. Nothing is entirely dark. There are always stars or moonlight shinning on us, and showing how beautiful the world can be even in darkness. We need light, and we need dark, that's how everything regenerates. Slytherin or not, human heart is complex, made by dilemmas and contradictories. I'm not evil, I don't hate muggles (ok, I sneer at squibs but it's not as if I want to kill them all), and I dare anybody to bring my belonging to Slytherin in question.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin :

I'm not a super-negotiator, but I know simple mechanism of manipulation.
And I can say that I'm really ambitious. Besides, I'm studying law in order to become a judge or a deputy. I would lie if I claim that I'm a very successful girl, but I keep on trying to improve myself.
I know I've got a big ego but I can't forget the first thing life has taught me: be discreet and observant, people will trust you. It doesn't mean to seem weak...

Well, last summer, I worked for one of the biggest Bank of the country whereas I've still not achieve university. There, I made friends and connections, so that I'll be able to get a job when I'll need it. I had a dinner with the chief of Finance and Development and his secretary who revealed to me how many lovers he has got and what their name are. I won't have to use this information, because they appreciate me, but it makes me sadly laugh when I see his wife.

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: Passion, seeing beauty in darkness, loyalty to friends and family, a wanting to do as one wants rather than what other people want (freedom of choice), a wanting to succeed in life and in love.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why: That all Slytherins must hate muggle-borns, or all Slytherins have to be pure-blooded. There are many half-blooded Slytherins (ie, Snape, Voldemort). There most definately will be muggle-borns in Slytherin, although rare - they do exist (according to JK Rowling who was going to write a muggle-born Slytherin in to show this, as well as a Slytherin who was parented by a muggle and a Squib.. but decided to cut it out as she needed room to elaborate other stories).

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin: I have the traits to the above question 'In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin'.

Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like: Not necessarily what I've done, but what I do. I am ambitious in all aspects, not just job-wise (life and love).. I welcome people with attributes not associated with 'the norm'. Going out, having fun and doing my own thing (despite whether it's legal or not) is something I do all the time. As long as I'm happy, as long as my friends and family are happy, it's pretty much all that matters.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct: To be passionate about where and how you want to be in life, and the people who are close to you. No-one else matters.... and if people can't accept you for who you are then whatever. Those that care don't matter, and those that matter don't care.

If you couldn't be in Slytherin, which other house would you be in, and why shouldn't you be in that house in the first place: Probably Hufflepuff... mainly because I am a daydreamer, and I like to think about things a lot - I tend to get stuck on details, but thoughtful nonetheless. I'm optimistic in a different kind of light... as in I suppose I know I'd describe myself as a pessimist, but a pessimist is a well informed optimist. I'd make a better Slytherin mainly because more of my traits relate to Slytherin, and I know I'd get on better with those in the Slytherin house. I'm tolerant, a dreamer, and slightly happy-go-lucky - but I can't stand talking to idiots.

I believe I have a lot of the traits associated with Slytherin.. but I also have quite a contradictory personality, as in I like and like to undersand both sides of stories in most cases. For example, I believe everyone has good and evil inside of them.. it's up to the person to decide which side of themselves they would like to portray to people. Because I'm happy with myself, and am comfortable showing both sides.. I think I can destroy a lot of built up stereotypes other houses give Slytherin, even stereotypes some people who like or who are in Slytherin give. It's a shame that some Slytherins feel they have to act a certain way to stay loyal to their house, to make friends in the house, etc. Slytherin is a very mysterious and beautiful house, with a dark history - which easily makes it the most interesting house with the most interesting people who are part of it. I know I'd do well in it. The sorting hat does put into consideration what house one would like to be in, after all! I also love Snape, am an avid admirer. =]

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: Slytherins are not stuck to black or white, bad or good. They know that there is more in between, that there are in deed some shades of grey. That's what makes them interesting - not bad, but no hero (like most Gryffindors) either.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why: Egoism. Just because they don't rush off and sacrifice their life for people they don't actually like that much they aren't egoistic prats. Not doing this is just normal and also quite reasonable.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin: Some say I can be quite arrogant at times. When somebody annoys me, he gets to know this. I'm also quite aggressive, I get into a lot o fights, because I don't give in and because I think striking back is the best way to defend myself.

Websites or similar that have sorted you into Slytherin: I've got to be honest and say I've never been big on quizzes. The few that I have taken have been a mix of Slytherin and Ravenclaw but with Slytherin dominating the bunch if I do remember correctly.

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: The makeup of a true Slytherin entails an aptness and skill in the arts of subtelty and precision. They must be willing to do what is necessary but at the same time use his/her aforementioned skills to map out the most sure road to success. If a situation calls for slow and deliberate steps a Slytherin would never stoop to the foolhardy qualities innate in those passionate Gryffindors. Our true power lies in our ability to shun heedless behavior and wait patiently for all our cards to be laid out before us or if a more direct and expeditious route is required to rely on our inherent cunning to lead us through or if the case may be allow us an effortless escape from whatever compromise we might very well find ourselves in. Furthermore a Slytherin is known for his/her ambition. It is most definitely our more prominent trait and for good reason. We never opt for second best. By whatever means and by whatever methods that must be employed we will do whatever is within our power to claim our rightful place.

Some believe by even mere association with a Slytherin there must be something wrong with you. Who decides this? Who came up with such an utterly ignorant idea? Sly and cunning we may be but lumping us all together into one convention to suit your primitive need to categorize is NOT a plausible reason to make a mockery of our Slytherin ideals just because they may differ from your own. What personal traits make you well suited to being a slytherin: I am a self-preserver. I do not rely on others nor do I want other to rely upon me. I will get where I’m going in life on my own merits and by my own moral code and will not break from my ideals for nobody. The things I care about will never be abandoned because I would never allow myself to just give up. I will always find a way. Next I understand the importance of maintaining a low profile when necessary. I never just boldly blunder about because I know the importance of being methodical. You can’t just advertise yourself to the world without first feeling out your surroundings. That’s just basic knowledge for any Slytherin.

Describe something you’ve done that you consider Slytherin-like: I’m about to graduate but this last semester I was basically forced to take a Speech class as it is a requirement in order to graduate. The class was a complete joke. Cross word puzzles and movie quizzes made up the majority of the curriculum. Anyways needless to say I easily passed the class with high marks for the first two grading periods but the third time around was a little different. The man actually wanted a speech in a speech class for the first time since the class started! [insert snort of derision here] Well thing is at this point I was bogged down with work in all of my honors classes and I really honestly had no time to write this teacher his essay and I was not about to put my other more important grades on the line for his sorry excuse for a class. So…I reused the essay I had submitted to a University earlier and received full marks plus a note to join debate next year! The man didn’t even realize I was a Senior. *rolls eyes*

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin’s code of conduct: I think each Slytherin’s code is a little different. We are known for making and living by our own rules and that is never going to change. However some key points that I don’t think can be ignored and that I have already touched on previously are…
A light foot that knows that subtlety is the best policy at all times. Brashness should be heeded at all costs.
Senses should be honed at all times. Never blindly trust anyone and always be expecting the unexpected.
Never forget who you are and where you come from. It’s only by measuring ourselves against our past selves that we will ever know how far we’ve advanced and in what direction we wish to continue to grow.

However the reason why I could never be anywhere but in Slytherin is my cunning and ambitious sides. I feel as if Slytherin is too often cast aside as the “Evil House” (sometimes by JK herself) and it just really depresses me that no one can look past the stereotype. It’s misunderstood and I can identify with that. I will admit I also have great admiration for Professor Snape ~~and erm the slightest of crushes.~~ In fact he was the character in the books who made me stop and take a closer look at the Slytherin house and really question characters I never thought I would *cough*Dumbledore*cough* and he will always be in my opinion the true hero of the Harry Potter Series.

Slytherin is the house that would most benefit me, and where I would find those most like myself. Some of the traits commonly found in other houses, like reckless valour and priggishness are not only not conducive to life in the real world, but can be annoying as well. If you really want to get ahead, you need to know how to react differently to certain people and certain circumstances to achieve your goals, and cookie cutter traits may not always be applicable. Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like: Not necessarily what I've done, but what I do. I am ambitious in all aspects, not just job-wise (life and love).. I welcome people with attributes not associated with 'the norm'. Going out, having fun and doing my own thing (despite whether it's legal or not) is something I do all the time. As long as I'm happy, as long as my friends and family are happy, it's pretty much all that matters.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct: To be passionate about where and how you want to be in life, and the people who are close to you. No-one else matters.... and if people can't accept you for who you are then whatever. Those that care don't matter, and those that matter don't care.

I believe I have a lot of the traits associated with Slytherin.. but I also have quite a contradictory personality, as in I like and like to undersand both sides of stories in most cases. Because I'm happy with myself, and am comfortable showing both sides.. I think I can destroy a lot of built up stereotypes other houses give Slytherin, even stereotypes some people who like or who are in Slytherin give. It's a shame that some Slytherins feel they have to act a certain way to stay loyal to their house, to make friends in the house, etc. Slytherin is a very mysterious and beautiful house, with a dark history - which easily makes it the most interesting house with the most interesting people who are part of it. In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: I don't think that one must have an evil brain to be sorted into Slytherin. Slytherin resumes desire for power, sucess, and anger to prove oneself. The problem is that the easiest path to conquist all this is precisely the one which may cause suffering to others.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin: I have one stereotype that I consider fair about Slytherins - I'm a bit Snape-like person, I don't usually talk or smile a lot and it takes some time for me to start trusting someone or to consider someone worthy to be called a friend. Finally, I also love green with silver so... why not?

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin I think being resourceful, cunning [the million dollar word to describe them] and quick on your feet is a major factor in being a Slytherin. Also, ambition and allegiance. Slytherins are allegiant, to where they defend the very most important things in thier lives, like thier house [which stands for what type of person you are] and thier friends to the point of utter exhaustion

But I guess the whole 'evil' look on them is my biggest annoyance. For example, Hagrid says that all wizards that were in Slytherin turned out to be evil [or at least that's the gist of it], and that is simply not true. You can't judge a whole house on a few bad apples, like Voldemort orMalfoy and his gang. Plus, this is all through what I like to call, Harry Vision. There were plenty of Gryffindors who turned out bad. One that comes to my mind is Peter Pettigrew. But enough of my tirade, I don't have to convice you...seeing as how I'm sure that you will probably agree that not ALL Slytherins are evil.

In your personal opinion, what makes a Slytherin: There are many different kinds of Slytherins so it would be unfair to just say one thing. Mostly, I just think a Slytherin is someone who doesn't always play by the rules and can be both traditional and completely original at the same time and do it in style. They know what they want and go for it.

I do agree that we take a bit more time to think things over and weigh our options but we are in no way lazy and while we may not stick up for everyone, we're loyal to those we're close to and are never to lazy or afraid to help them out.

Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like: Not going to college or university right after high school. While I do love to learn and will eventually go, I realized that "everyone else is doing it now" just isn't a good enough reason. I have to do what I want, not what other people want me to do. I decided that I wanted to work a bit and then travel to the UK. Pretty much everyone I knew didn't want me to do it because they said I'd never be able to save up enough or get organised enough to actually do it. But I did...I'm leaving for London tomorrow for two years.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct:
1) Always stay true to yourself; help other people out but don't let anything get in the way of what you want. And be yourself without other's opinions getting in the way.

2) As well as staying true to youself, know yourself. You are the best friend you'll ever have and the only one you can ever truly trust. If you don't know who you are, you'll get nowhere in life. Know you strengths and your weaknesses and use that knowledge to get what you want.

3) Don't associate youself with people who aren't worth it. Spending time around people who don't respect you or make you feel uncomfortable is a waste of time. Forget them.

4) This one was originally said by Eleanor Roosevelt but it fits perfectly with the Slytherin code of conduct: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent".

5) Stay loyal to your friends. They will remember it and do the same for you if you ever need it.

6) And last but not least...sometimes you just have to be a bitch.

I do have some of their qualities, I'm brave, and headstrong. The reason I'm a Slytherin instead is because I'm not always brave, or heroic. Most Gryffindors are naturally talented and good, they don't seem to have to have to work for anything, it's just handed to them. I've worked for where I am and have done a damn good job of it.

    Aside from the obviously overrated ambitious, cunningness, resourcefulness, and purebloodiness... A Slytherin is someone who will do anything to get to the top. To be the greatest not the greatest they can be. To be the best not just their best. A Slytherin will do whatever it takes to make it to the top. Even if that means stepping on a few people on the way, wait scratch that, especially if that means stepping on a few people on the way. A Slytherin will do everything and anything to do what they need to get done and to do it right. That might mean they have to lie, cheat and steal OR it can mean they have to suck up and be pleasant. It might mean leaving everyone in the dark while you work things out and getting people to do things for which they do not know the reasoning behind it. If getting to the top means being disloyal and sneaky amongst your loved ones then so be it, as long as something will benefit you in the end. Though this is harsh it is true, a true Slytherin would do it to another. Being a Slytherin is about self-preservation even though it is not the most flattering of traits. A Slytherin will save their ass before anyone else's, then save their family. Family is very important to a Slytherin though it may not be blood relatives but a family none the less. Take the Malfoys versus Voldemort. The Malfoys need family and will protect their name and stand by each other at all costs. While Voldemort has the death eaters a.k.a family, who he has to surround him and make him stronger. He might not treat them well or save them, but he is respectful and grateful of their doings, to a certain extent. A Slytherin does nothing half-assed.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why:
    All Slytherins are evil, is completely unfair and untrue. Slytherins, I believe, are not evil but only stand up for what they believe in. So what if what they believe in might not be for the greater good? If it is good for a certain Slytherin then they stick to it even if it might be evil. Some Slytherins joined the Dark Lord for protection not because Voldemort is evil. If safety means some unmoral reasonings then so be it. A Slytherin joins the "evil" death eaters because they were going to win (pre-DH). Winning is everything to a Slytherin, not evilness.
A Slytherin chooses "I want to win." not "I want to be evil."

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin:
    Firstly, It's all the way or no way. Like I stated before "a Slytherin does nothing half-assed." Nor do I. I put my all into everything I do to get it done. I am very passionate; I never stop half way. I never say "I can't" because I can! I just haven't figured out how to do it yet. But, Ah! Do not think I can't because I always find a way, I always find a loophole.
    Secondly, my first impulse is to say or do something devious. I am a natural for nastiness as all Slytherins but like them I keep it nice and clean in order to gain respect.
    And finally, I use my allies wherever possible. If I do not need to do something myself, I simply don't. I am not lazy, I just have something more useful and urgent I can do myself.

Describe something you've done that you consider Slytherin-like:
I don't recall ever doing anything "Slytherin-like" but I definitely think like a Slytherin. I think, what can I do to make this happen? Who do I talk to to make things flow easier? Is there a faster way? What will I get in the long-run? Other than thinking, like I've said before I am very passionate so everything I do, I do it all the way, the best I can. To be the best. I don't like to lose, but I am not a sore loser. I think black and white... do it or don't, no one influences my final decision.

What, in your personal opinion, is a Slytherin's code of conduct:
It's completely cliche, but it works:
        1) Where there is a will, there is a way (determination is a must)
        2) Honesty is not always the best policy (sometimes you gotta stretch the truth, or in some cases cut little bits out)
        3) Rules are meant to be broken (or at least bent)
        4) If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything (appearance is everything)
        5) All is fair in love and war!

If you couldn't be in Slytherin, which other house would you be in, and why shouldn't you be in that house in the first place:
    I would say Gryffindor, mostly because I am reliable and loyal. I wouldn't be chosen for that house in the first place because although I am reliable, I do not rely on people. I do what I can on my own and don't give credit to people who don't deserve it. Although I am loyal, I do not always tell the whole truth in order to make me look good or to save them from embarrassing themselves. I tell bits and pieces and let them put it together. While as a Gryffindor, I would have to be completely honest even if I do not look my best, just to better them.


Explain in less than 500 words why you wish to join slytherin:
    In Philospher's Stone, when Draco meets Harry... I automaticlly fell inlove with draco, I knew he wasn't being kind to Harry but I saw similarities between us. From then on, Draco and I have been one in the same. And I've come to love Slytherin and always root Draco. I relate to Slytherin. I know it sounds phoney, but it's true. I've always loved the Slytherin way, all the other houses have flaws that irrate me to know end. And also I'd love to kick back with some fellow Slytherins where we see eye to eye, and not everyone is rooting for damned harry.

Somebody who has a burning ambition to succeed, will do anything to get there at the expense of others and isn't afraid to put people in thier place. We aren't afraid to try our best for somethnig and put our best into it, whatever the task is.

Choose one stereotype about Slytherins that you believe is unfair, and tell us why:

That we are in it for ourselves. Just because we are in the green suit doesn't mean that we Have to hope everyone else does badly / dies terribly / and so on.

What personal traits make you well suited to being a Slytherin:

I do have that mean streak in me that can jump out at a moments notice. I am actually a nice person but I can bite back when necessary.

Errrr. I did do a picture of a death eater using me and a halloween cloak and finding a tattoo of a dark mark online, if that counts...
