On Wednesday, December 7, the fifteen committees of The New School met again. Committee time is held every other Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00.

On Wednesday, October 26, the sixteen committees of The New School met again. Committee time is held every other Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00.

Today the 12 clubs of The New School met for the second time. Club time is held every other Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30.

According to page 20 of The New School Student Handbook, the operating philosophy of club time is “teachers and students playing together to improve the community.” Many thanks to the students who volunteered to create and lead each club, and to all students who participated.

On Wednesday, September 21, the sixteen committees of The New School met for the first time. Committee time is held every other Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00.

Parents are of course a vital part of The New School Community, and this report is meant to shed lights on the events of the afternoon. According to page 20 of The New School Student Handbook, the operating philosophy of committee time is “teachers and students working together to improve the community.” If you click on the "comments" link below, you will see brief summaries of the events of the day.

Welcome to the Community Report of The New School of Northern Virginia! This is a place to report on topics raised during the Wednesday committee meetings. Our community is spread all over Northern Virginia, and this is a nice avenue to make it a little closer.

This report is maintained by the Communications Committee at the New School.
