i just got a comment left by an lj user named "cankel", on an old post i made a few weeks back about me being very slow getting ready for uni...
it read...

when i clicked the link, it infact opened a new window to a site "www.art-attack.com/users/andy1..." or something like that. The window closed itself within a second or two.
about 3 seconds afterthis, my antivirus software went nuts, after finding that a trojan virus was in my system.
I recon that a: the link was a deliberate door used by the virus to get into my system, and b: that the user "cankel" is not behind this. I think the trojan must get into your system, then user your lj name to leave similar commments on other peoples ljs.
So if anyone gets any comments from me, that bear little relevance to the post, and contain a hyper link, that does not lead to where it says it does (to see where a link leads, hold your mouse over the link DO NOT CLICK IT, and look in the bottom left of the browsers window; the text down there should be the same and the link shows. if it is not, do not click it. delete the post.) please do not open the link, just deleted the commment.
sorry if anyone gets got by this cos of me contracting it - my antivirus is cleaning up atm.
personally, i can only conclude that the comment was left
