Mark's No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament Benefit
If you haven't heard, Mark Holmes was in accident recently and had to spend several days in the hospital and is probably out of work for several weeks. We're organizing a poker benefit to help him through this time. So here's the info:

Event: No-Limit Texas Hold'em Freeze Out Tournament

When: Friday August 24th

Place: The Whirling Dervish, 1135 Decatur

Time: Registration starts at 7:00 PM. The tournament starts PROMPTLY at 7:30. Registration will remain open til 8:00. Prepaying (me) is fine, a seat will be reserved for you, but if you're not there for a hand you're cards will automatically be folded and your blinds will automatically be posted.

Buy-in: $20. No rebuys. No add-ons.

Why: To benefit DJ Nanashi aka Dark Mark aka Mark Holmes

Prizes: We have lots of prizes donated by local businesses and a very nice chip set. Each 10 entries will add another prize level.

Tournament structure and other information will be posted before the tournament.

RSVP is requested as space is limited. After a certain point we simply won't have seating or chips for everyone.

Other info: Drinks will be available at addition cost. 50% of all drink proceeds will go to Mark as well.

I will give a brief lesson in No-Limit Texas Hold'em at 6:30 PM, so if you don't know how to play, but you've always wanted to learn, NOW is the PERFECT opportunity!
