Fursuits/Costumes are welcomed and there will plenty of eats and drinks. There is also plenty of room if you need to crash over night.

Hello! I'm SawGunner Xu, red anthro dwaggy! If any of you were at FAU, then you prob ran into me at some point. I'm not new to the furfandom, but i am new to Live Journal. I was told that this is the best way to contact furs here in New Jersey. I just moved back here about a year ago after being away in Texas. I'm trying to contact more furs in the area. I live in Berkeley Heights, but work in New Providence. As far as i know, there are zero furs in this general area. Most of the ones I know don't live very close to me. I hope you all, and live journal can help me find more friends here in NJ and the NYC area. Hey folks, just wanted to let you guys know about a meet the Furst State group is planning: attending Hershey After Dark at Hershey Park, on October 25th!
This meet is still in the planning stages right now, but it looks like we will have several furs from Delaware, three of which will most likely be in fursuit!

I need a female to read for Altaica, so I can properly do that animation. Here is a sample:

Qualifications I'm looking for is a voice in the huskier range, Altaica is a big tigress, and a neutral to mid-western "accent".
Recording will be done at my lair using a professional microphone and mixing board. It should take about an hour or so. I can't pay much.

Beach Meet Cancellation
This year was fun, but the beach meets will have to be ended early this year. It it will be cold tomorrow (estimated to be 68 degrees out on the beach!), and some of the things that usually happen towards the end of August happened in the end of July instead this year (rough waves, dead jelly fish, horseshoe crabs).. Still we did have fun this year! Thanks to everyone that came! :) I'll be posting some group pics that V-Smok took :)

Greetings from a Jersey fur! I'm pretty new to the furry community but certainly not to the love of furries. After my first Anthrocon I have to say that fursuiting looks so incredibly fun that I'll have to give it a try someday. I'm definitely shooting for attending FA:United in Newark, so it'll be nice to meet more furs from the area!

It was a lot of fun!! :D
I woke up in the morning and got a message from 4 out of the 8 fursuiters I was hoping would show, saying that they couldn't make it :( awh! 3 fursuiters did show up tho,
foxwell jimwolf24 quentincoyote (Thanks guys!!) and they walked around while Rex and I followed, and it was a lot of fun! :) In the Festival they joined me at a booth, resting with free drinks and snacks before they headed to Tony's BBQ. Foxwell purchased some really cool furryish items :) I wish I walked around more..
To those 4, Thank you for coming! :) A few other furs where there in the festival,

rustytiger, and a couple of others I don't know very well :) Hope you guys had fun too!
Jersey Pride Inc, the parade organizers, invited us and they loved the furry addition! They gave us an early invite for next year, with the option of having a float to ourselves as well, I just have to let them know early! :) Next Year's will be June 7th 2009! I'll post reminders as we get closer and take down an RSVP list for those that want to join us!
