I'm a 24 year old art major who lives in a tiny, tiny town of less than 500 (unless you count the cows). I'm happily taken by a wonderful man who works with explosives. I love art, writing, reading, languages, music, dance, cooking, and pretty much all things creative. I have very little common sense and believe all people are good until proven otherwise. I am a Trekkie who also loves Star Wars. I play too many video games and not enough D&D right now. I also like cartoons and anime. I'd like to get to know some of the people on my friends list too. :)

Twenty year old female who has an extreme love for anything that is different and/or odd. Currently a college student who takes school very seriously. I'm the kind of female that changes herself all the time and is not afraid of new things. Mostly a photographer who has also acted as a model. English is not my first language but who the fuck cares. I love getting involved in anything that I can create, which is probably why I enjoy writing, drawing & photography so much. I was a private school child, ha ha, something that I am both grateful for and unappreciative of. Music tastes are all over the place, and I am a fan of anything that is usually in a foreign language. Have a great sense of humor, though I am told that I can be quite sarcastic.
I'm a Cuban immigrant of Cuban y Swedish y Puerto-Rican decent who now lives in NYC. Lover of videogames of all kinds, anime, etc. I also love latex fetishes immensely and on my worst day, some good porn can always make me feel all the more better. I'm fascinated by the unknown and am always (if not usually) in a day dreaming state. Travel all over when I can and take photographs anywhere I go. My journal has many locked entries, but some of which are open to the public. Love to read new journals with interesting people and will definitely comment back.

You can call me Nam, as I prefer my World of Warcraft character name (Namandra) to my actual name. Interesting fact huh? That is only the beginning. I love to read and write, and cook. I also happen to be terrible at writing posts like this. Musically...my ipod looks as if it is shared by four people or used by one schizophrenic. I am an English teacher, a second degree black belt and oh yeah, kinda crazy. I am looking for a few open minded, funny, friends who listen well and give good advice. I am willing to provide the same! I will attempted to update my journal daily, but I am terrible at it as a rule. I started a new journal with the hopes that I would post...so here's hoping! I'm Abbie, and I have been posting on Livejournal in one form or another for 9 years now.
I am currently looking for new friends because, sadly, my friend's list is quite bare at the moment.
I tend to post one to two post a day, and read my friend's page twice as much (though I find there is less and less for me to read everyday).
I am currently 26, with one two year old daughter and 4 months along with my second child.
I am into music, I enjoy classic rock, classical, opera, rock, punk, gothic, industrial, and techno...
I barely watch the telly, but I do like shows like House, Firefly, and Invader Zim... And I do currently have an obsession with Dr. Rodney McKay from Stargate: Atlantis, but we will not go there.
I am also into art, and have a Deviant Art page were I post most of my silly things.
I am not everyone's cup of tea really. I have a morbid sense of humour, and a cynical approach to a lot of things in life.

[You can find out my name later]. I’m 19. I study psychology and biology at a university that I consider to be my home. School has become my life since I started a year ago. I like it that way. It keeps me safe. One of my dearest friends has called me a living paradox. He likes to make fun of me because I’m a [closeted] Lesbian – Iraqi - Christian who studies science. I am obviously pretty open minded. My journal consists of everything mentioned above (i.e. my religion, my culture, SCHOOL, my gayness). I admit I can get annoying with some of my entries. But I need to do it…because writing about the nonsense that goes on in my head keeps me sane…. at least as sane as I’m going to get. I’ve recently become addicted to the TV show Weeds. I want to marry Nancy Botwin. I can be really awkward. I’m usually sarcastic. I can be a huge science geek. Music used to be something that kept me sane, until I realized that it’s just there to hide everything that I refused to look dead in the eyes. I’m not sure of much at this point, but I’d really like to make new friends because that makes me happy. I try to comment as often as I can…and as often as I can find something to say. I’m Alexa, I’m 18, and I’m a writer. I’m a spiritualist and I’m superstitious; I love storms, the mountains, cities, and weeping willows; music, literature, writing, and going to local gigs. I listen to mainly classic rock, I watch Supernatural religiously, and I do everything I can to make myself happier. I'm moving out in a couple months on my own, and going to school for journalism and creative writing, double-mastering in journalism and international affairs. I'd like to write for a magazine and travel. Get to know me, I’m pretty laid back.
My journal is friends only, and I like to get to know all of my LJ friends, you're not just a number. I just started a podcast to go along with my journal, and I'm trying to make it LJ friend-interactive.

So I'll start, shall I?
I'm Steph, 16 and I live in the UK. I'm interested in loads of things really; mainly art and poetry though. I'm a pretty creative person. & of course, I love music. J-Pop & J-rock are probably my fave genres but I also like acoustic guitar music, indie and reggae :) I'm also interested in philosophy and psychology.
I post entries on my LJ pretty much daily.
And I don't really know what else to say haha x') So I'll leave it at that.

I have been away from LJ for some time, But I am getting back on here a lot and looking for some news friends.
I just turned 24 in June, Single mother to a baby boy who will be 20 months on Thursday. He is my life. I live in a city in Iowa. I am near Omaha and Sioux Falls.
I b*** about my work sometimes and how its going to crap. I love to read! I read away to much! I love reading native american romance novels and I have started read a few Pirates romance novels. I have way too many books that I am running out of places for them.
I also love acting and doing Renaissance fairs. I will be up in Kansas City the first weekend in Oct helping at during the fair. I also love games! Psp, ps2 and Wii!
Also I am in to movies. Got away to many of them too. I love to cook and bake! Don't mine getting new recipes or giving out them. I am trying to get more easy dinners to make while I work. Sine I work at night at a motel and I want to start bring in my own dinner.

I'm not very good when it comes to making introductions, so try to bear with me here.
First off, I'm a Female, I'm 16, and I live in Canada. Even though I'm not exactly an avid fan of school, I do love to learn, and I plan to be one of those people who'll continue to learn new things even as they're approaching old age. I'm really interested in learning new languages, and I'm currently tackling Japanese, with a little Korean on the side. I enjoy taking really bad photography, and pretending that I have talent when it comes to art. Did I mention I'm probably one of the laziest people you'll meet?

K-pop. JDramas and KDramas. Mint flavoured foods and beverages. Looking at food blogs and wishing I could cook. Reading books about shallow topics. Politics. Talking about attractive young men. Mangas. Movies with horrible acting. Various bands/artists such as Metric, Queens of The Stone Age, The Strokes, Dream Theater, Union of Knives, Arctic Monkeys, Epik High, and Dragonette. Various TV Shows like IT Crowd, Chaser's War on Everything, The Mighty Boosh, and So you think you can dance. (And here, you could insert whatever interest I would probably put if I was willing to put more time into thinking about this post)

Just to let you know, this journal is not my main journal. I have a journal where I talk about fandom and my real life and that sort of thing, but around a month ago, I realised that I was in need of a journal where I could just post whatever random thought that burst into my head at the time without spamming my friends list in the process.
Anyway, seeing how I'm making myself a new journal, I figured why not get some new friends? I really love reading journals, and I comment whenever I have something to say, which is pretty much all the time. I want to meet people from all walks of life.

The name is Kesha. I am a wife and stay at home mother. My Husband is away working for now. It's hard but we're managing it. My daughter is 5 months old. (She's growing so fast!!) She is my pride and joy. I love my family very much. They are what is most important to me.
I am a Christian. I only have a handful of true and treasured friends. I'm down to earth, easy going, honest and upfront. I think through all the strife I am a vey blessed person. I try to lead by example so I do try to better myself daily and make wise decisions because you never know who is watchng you and its become even more important since I had a child of my own.Though sometimes I do make mistakes like anyone else. Hopefully someone else is learning from my own mistakes too! Haha. I'm far from perfect but find myself always striving for perfection.
I will be going to Africa next year! I've never been out of my own country. My husband is Nigerian so we will be going to his home. I will finally get to meet my other family and I'm excited about that and for them to meet our little angel God sent to us!
