AboutThis is a community so that Newfoundlanders (or people interested in Newfoundland and Labrador) within the LiveJournal community can get to know one another a little better. Feel free to post about yourself, where you're living, what you like about Newfoundland, etc.. Posts about Newfoundland music and events are also welcome.
People are also more than welcome to post pictures they've taken of Newfoundland and Labrador - as long as they use the <lj-cut> tag (FAQ on using LiveJournal-specific tags), because not everybody has access to an internet connection other than dialup, and some people would rather not see huge pictures show up on their friends page like that. If there are big pictures constantly being posted without using that tag, they may be deleted with or without warning. If pictures in general are a problem, you can set up your journal to show placeholders for all/large images: http://www.livejournal.com/users/news/76488.html
Also, if you promote a new LJ community that isn't related to Newfoundland, or post wildly offtopic things, don't be surprised when the post is deleted without warning. In extreme cases, it will be reported to Abuse. But I'd rather not have to do that.
