This is a silly question/old question, but for the sake of public discourse...!

How do you feel about color combinations of black/navy, brown/black?

Honestly, I wear these combinations constantly without even a second thought!

But, I just bought a navy dress and chocolate leggings to wear underneath it, then realized I would probably be wearing black boots with the outfit.

right now im wearing black tights, black shoes, navy skirt, red+gray shirt and I have a black coat and brown bag. I think it can look really good if you put it together well.

I generally avoid them, but I've seen them done really well. If you switch the chocolate leggings with black ones, that would be really cute.

i think black & navy goes together FINE - my boyfriend said they clash (what!?) but i like them. i wore a black tanktop underneath a navy sweater once & he flipped.

i wear these three colors all interchangeably all the time, but i also dress like a bum lately. faded black jeans and a navy top's a staple for me. i also wear a navy corduroy blazer with pretty much everything.

I don't have a problem with this at all!
I love a mostly-black outfit with some brown accents, it gives it some seperation & makes it much more interesting & rich-looking.
Black & navy is fine as well, like a navy t-shirt with black jeans or something looks great. Or even a black outfit with navy accessories, like a hat/scarf/bag. Love it :D

People are always trashin Black and Brown, but really they're both neutrals so there really isn't an obvious reason why it can't be done.

dark brown and black = no
dark brown and navy = yes yes
black and navy = not sure, but i lean toward no

navy dress, dark brown leggings and black boots? = i'm gonna have to go with no. although some brown boots would be wonderful with it.
