My computer crashed and went to bits, I lost all of the bookmarks of amazing websites/blogs that I have been saving and reading for years. Although I remember some of the major ones I miss them and feel a little lost (i know that's a little pathetic)
so help a sister out, let me know what your favorite fashion, makeup, accessory, trend setter, style, design, girly girl, feminista, and overall amazing have to read them websites/blogs are.
thanks thanks

| Hello, loves. |
[22 Dec 2008|08:40pm] |
My name is Emily. I've been watching this community for while & decided to finally contribute a little something. I lovelovelove looking at all your delightful outfits. So many gorgeous ladies! (It's rather intimidating, no?)
So, I'm studying to become a high school English teacher. After winter break, I will be in the classroom for the first time. I'm struggling to find outfits that will make myself look "sophisticated" while not over the top. My problem is that I look pretty young (I'm 22), so I'm afraid I'll be mistaken for a student! I need to wear things that will set me apart from them. I am always looking for inspiration! If you'd like to share. :)
Anyway, here are a few outfits that I've worn recently. I'm really a rather plain Jane by habit. Although, I'm trying to put more of an effort into what I wear. This first one was definitely out of my "comfort zone". But, I like it over all. I ended up wearing a little cardigan with it.

What is your favorite brand for high-quality cotton/cotton-like basic tee shirts/tanks? Price does not matter. I'm just looking to buy some camisoles and tee shirts that will last and last with minimal pilling.
Has American Apparel fallen apart for you? Other brands in mind are C&C California, Vince, Theory, Splendid, James Perse...
Thank you thank you!
EDIT: Whoa, thanks for all the helpful comments. James Perse and Vince (for that perfect tee) it is. I went to AA for the first time ever and dropped $276....most of it is now going to be exchanged for hoodies for the boyfriend.

I'm almost really nervous to post here for the first time, but here goes.
I went to some thrift stores yesterday to celebrate the beginning of summer and I found some ridiculous cowboy boots. I'm excited. I love cowboys and indians so they work so perfectly for me.

Ok, so I really like these pair of shoes.
They're on sale for $49.98 on the aldo website currently and I really want to order them but unfortunately the aldo website does not accept international credit cards (i'm not from the US), so I can't do so. I'm looking for someone who can help me order it in a size 37 off the website and then ship it to me after they receive it. I'm really desperate to get these, so if anyone can help, it'll be greatly appreciated!

The Bangles - Walk like an Egyptian |

The weather is finally great and I'm swotting up on my final exams. I'm so busy and I haven't been outside for days. I'm just working and studying. So I've been using an hour in my busy, busy schedule to look at lovely outfits and recent buys and thought that I wanted to share some.
I'm terriby sorry for toiletposing, but I have no decent mirrors anywhere else. And yes, it is an aquarium in my bathroom. :) And sorry that my English isn't very good. That's all for now. Sorry for being a little picture heavy :) Lovely to meet you all.

| Fashionable Traveling |
[02 Jun 2008|03:23am] |
 ^my travel essentials wish list
I'm spending this fall semester studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. There will be plenty of weekend time for traveling, and subsequently I've become obsessed with acquiring ultimate travel tip lists from people who have done any type of study abroad, traveling, or backpacking in Europe or anywhere, really.
So what are your favorite traveling tips? Things you wish you would have known before you traveled? The one item you wish you would have brought and the one you ended up not needing? Tricks to looking semi-presentable when you are lacking showers and washing machines? Articles of clothing that are convertible for maximum packing space? And anything else you consider vital to traveling fashionably and smart.
Thanks for the help!

For graduation, heels are not allowed because it's on our astro-turf field. Wedges are, but I'm not a wedge type of girl :o| . Any help would be appreciated!

1st post. I'll get right to the point. I have a problem with finding tops. I have so many black cotton band t-shirts, and they are all I wear. I raid stores and malls but can never find anything nice in the ladies section because I have watermelons as breasts. The largest sizes end up having those awkward openings in between buttons. I'm tired of t-shirts and want something feminine. I'm also not too festive on clothes that accentuate my stomach. Help?
