Summary: The Doctor joins Jackson Lake and his family for dinner but try as he might, he just can't fit in. He takes his leave but Jackson will not take no for an answer. Very soon, both their separate pasts come back to haunt them...This chapter: Jackson goes to Rosita and Jed and tries to patch things up and also has an encounter with the Doctor.

Authors Note: Sorry this is so late. I've been on holiday in Vegas and LA and didn't have much time to write! Hope it's worth the wait. No nastiness this chapter, there's actually some comfort! I know, shocker! This chapter WAS going to be longer but actually ended up getting a bit crazy so I split it into two. The next chapter will be up by end of next week. It's nearly finished. :)
