First of all I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates this poor journal has seen. I haven't had much of a "muse" it seems — at least not one that sticks around to see a set completed. It's also due to my busier schedule with school.

The upside is, there a lot more icons here than I originally thought! The first half is quite new, and the last few are older — some that haven't been posted and I wanted to share them with you. :)

You can see there's a lot of different colourings. I've been playing around with techniques and styles, some influenced by favourite icon makers. I hope you like everything! I would definitely appreciate any feedback you have, too.

I've finally got my "muse" back. ;) I haven't been very creative at school, but I suppose that now it's almost done, I needed to make a wallpaper last night. It's of the new miniseries "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" that aired on BBC in the fall.

I'm sorry I haven't updated recently. I've been busy with camp in the summer, and now I've started university! So that's been a big change. I haven't had much in the way of topics to icon, either. Then I came across a set I made awhile and figured it's about time I shared them!

They're just silly, but I've made a "Mrs" set, so you can be "married" to your favourite literary male! (I threw in some actors, too.) This was actually inspired by a conversation and inside joke with [info]three_nails.

I have had so many various icons sitting on my computer that I've been meaning to share that I never got around to posting until now. This is made up of a combination of contest entries, unfinished sets, and various icons I made when I was bored. Lots and lots of various period dramas, as well as some popular movies (A Walk to Remember, The Princess Diaries) and TV shows (Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill). I think it goes without saying that this is not dial-up friendly. :P

So what started as me making a couple of icons to go with a multifandom post turned into Pushing Daisies craziness. That being said, I really like how these turned out. I hope you do too!

This was extremely pretty and when [info]three_nails made caps, I couldn't resist making icons! So here they are.

I finally finished watching this with my mom! It was lovely, and I rather enjoyed it. Olivia Wilde Williams (oops) was great as Jane Austen — wonderfully snarky and fun, for the most part. :) It was a bit sad, though. It's too bad, because I think the only reason Jane may have had regrets (at least, according to this movie, which is pretty speculative) was because of money, and taking care of her sister and mother. I don't think it would have been so bad marrying a man who you were very good friends with, even if you didn't love him in that way, except for the risk that you might meet someone that you loved later in life... If only Miss Austen could have lived in today's world — she would probably be one of the richest women ever!

I really do love this series. :D Even if you're not crazy about the script/etc., you have to admit, it is pretty!

I've been making my way through my new Doctor Who DVD sets, and (as you can probably tell :P) I just finished episode 2.07, "The Idiot's Lantern." I know this is one of the more popular episodes to icon, but seriously, with the fun fifties costumes (well, mostly the hair) and the cute Rose/Ten moments, of course everyone icons it! Anyway, I hope you like. :) It's kind of a nice break from all my period drama icons.

I just looked at my last Robin icon post, and I can't believe that it was a year ago since I last shared a batch! Yikes! I have been making lots of icons when I was away at school, but I just haven't had time to upload them yet. SO without furtehr ado, here they are!

I just rewatched Bleak House a few weeks ago and loved it even more. I especially love Carey Mulligan and Anna Maxwell Martin, as you can see by the subject of these... And Esther gets her happy ending! So I've finally made icons! Most of these are from the final episode.

I've been meaning to post these for ages but it's seriously taken me that long to upload them. It's a mix of icons from episode one as well as promo pictures/stills.

These are all from pictures I've taken myself while I've been here in England! Pictures are of sites in London, as well as the Lake DIstrict, the little town of Kendal, and Lancashire/my school.

I started this set ages ago, and now I've finally finished! Partly because I had lost the caps I was using (I had them on my brother's computer, long story) and then I found them. Which was great because those specific caps worked so much better. And I really like how these turned out. It's about time I make more Audrey Hepburn icons! Plus, with Gregory Peck, this movie is so much LOVE. Ahem. :)

I am so excited for this new adaptation!

I'm realizing I tend to use blue and green in my wallpapers a lot, but honestly, it's only because the pictures I use have the blue and green. I could probably try other colours but I guess I'm getting pro at that combination, haha. Hope you like it nonetheless. ;)

Apparently I won't rest 'til I've made icons from all my "period fandoms," haha. That, and I can't really get new screencaps until next week so I have to just use what I have. I hope you enjoy!

(Also I've been having trouble with trying to attain the right brightness, because it all depends on how my laptop screen is tilted! They keep changing on me, lol.)

Pretty Robin Hood promo pictures require wallpapers to be made! (And wow, this took awhile for me to upload everything and post it.)

Hello! I've finally found some time to make more icons... The hardest part is trying to upload them. The internet time is very limited here at school. (FYI: I'm in England! It's absolutely amazing. I love it here! The other day I was watching Doctor Who and squeeing over the fact that I had been to the London Eye and Westminster Bridge, and then it hit me: I'm watching Doctor Who IN ENGLAND.)

I've made a batch of Our Mutual Friend icons because they just worked and I was on a roll. (I love how some of these turned out.) Although, it depends on your computer screen — you could see them completely differently than I see them. ;)

On a random note: I've been asked a couple times if I was British because I know so much about British shows! Haha. I thought that was cool. Also, I've been converting people into Robin Hood and Doctor Who fans! I'm dying to see the new Robin Hood episodes too... Ah well. :)

ETA: The numbering got all messed up — sorry about that!
