Wow, I haven't posted here in a long time, huh? Sorry about that! Lots of DCU icons for you this time around (and a couple from That Other Company). We've got: Black Canary, Green Arrow I, Green Arrow II, Arsenal, Huntress, Misfit, Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Aquaman, Arisia, Hal Jordan, Big Barda, Barry Allen, Superman, Lois Lane, Power Girl, Hawkgirl, Elongated Man, Sue Dibny, the Marvel Family, Supergirl, Linda Danvers, a bunch of DCAU tie-in comics (Batgirl, Harley and Ivy, Flash, and more), two Spider-Man, one Spyboy, and a bunch of wacky text bubbles. Whew!

As always, I iconify random comic panels that please me, and may not remember where they came from. If you're dying to know, please ask, but be forewarned that I may not be able to give you anything more specific than "A Justice League issue from the 70s...?"

Look After You [A Twilight Fanmix]

Couldn't sleep. Made a fanmix instead... it's been a while.

This mix is in honor of Eclipse's release on the 7th. (Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. It's good reading, so if you feel so inclined - check it out... and I'm happy to discuss it). These songs represent moments from both Twilight and New Moon (which are the first two books in the series).

Nothing says fun like emo Evanescence. Am I right/ Am I right? It's coupled with footage from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Extraordinary
Mulan is kick ass in this music video of her exploits set to Liz Phair's "Extraordinary."

This one seems to be a favorite among the browsers. The music is from Moulin Rouge and the footage is from Beauty and the Beast.

So far, I've gotten three of my music vidding endeavors up on the interweb for viewification by the general public.

Since You've Been Gone
I'm fairly certain I've mentioned this one here before. This video stars my brother (Greg) and his friend (Neil) doing a bunch of hilarious things while lip synching to Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone." Plans for a sequel ("Total Eclipse of the Heart") are in the works.

Crash and Burn
This is a video to the Savage Garden song and contains footage from several Disney movies - Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. It was made, uh, two years ago to make my friends feel better about the fact that we all had finals (also... it allowed me to procrastinate... which is important when you have five big tests coming up).

Do You Believe in Magic?
The Lovin' Spooful and The Little Mermaid together at last. Seriously, though... this one is one of my favorites. It's pretty delightful. Yes, I did spend hours editing out individual frames of the flamingos dancing so they would dance in time to the music *hides her dork face in her dork hands*

Those are the ones that are up now. I've got a few more sitting on my computer that might go up in the nearish future.

What does this have to do with graphics/icons? Well, I'll TELL you! Way back, long before I used icon-making as a form of stress relief, I used vidding. After I made a few videos, poisonivory started making up icons to go with them. I liked those icons and asked her how to make them. She taught me. 2 years later... I'm a MONSTER.
