I don't know if anyone out there is bored enough/interested enough in the Haruka 4 video game that was released for PS2 and Wii, but I got my hands on it shortly after it came out and decided I was gonna take screenshots as I played and translate them to English.
So if you want to sit down and read through some of the story at the beginning of the game, be my guest. I just started this project last week, but I have more than 200 screens translated into English thus far.

Oh, and I also did this with Angelique Etoile and coded it in Flash to be interactive with music and sound effects. I'll post that one later if anyone's interested. If so, let me know so I can take the time to finish programming the choices you can click on.

I'm hoping for some advice here from people who've played HaruToki 3 through with Izayoiki.
Some months ago I bought HaruToki 3, but at the time didn't have enough money to get Izayoiki as well and the PSP version hadn't been released. So I just got HT3 and on and off have been playing it when I've had time to do so.
Right now I'm on Hinoe's path (about halfway through). I've completed all the other Hachiyou except Kagetoki, and I've still Hakuryuu and Saku to do.
My question is this.
Now I have a little cash on hand, is it better to buy just the Izayoiki add on for the PS2 game, bearing in mind that there are extra scenes for the paths I've already done? How much would that affect the existing games that I've saved and would I have to start all the paths from the beginning to get those extra scenes to show up and to make their endings count? Also, how different does the add on make each character's path?
And would it in the end be it better to buy the complete PSP version with it all built in and have to start all from scratch?
I'm not really sure which my best option is...advice please?

Not much information on either page is available yet, but what's confirmed:
Kin-iro no Corda 3:
- will be available on both PSP and PS2
- involves a national concours
- involves dorm building "Linden Hall" at Seiso Academy
- is expected to go on sale next spring
- has the tagline: "kitto, wasurerarenai natsu ni naru—" ("this will surely be an unforgettable summer—")
- (10/24) an ad in December LaLa confirms the main character (second-year transfer music student), and five of her potential romantic interests and their voice cast! (thanks, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) aestalitz, for sharing the scan!)

- is subtitled as the "last anime" for Haruka 3

- confirms a cast of "Miki Shin'ichirou as Arikawa Masaomi, Seki Tomokazu as Minamoto no Kurou Yoshitsune, Takahashi Naozumi as Hinoe, Miyata Kouki as Musashibou Benkei, others"
- has the same animation/character design director as the Kurenai no Tsuki OVA (Tsunaki Aki), who was director for the Haruka1 Hachiyoushou anime series

So I'm new to this community, and generally speaking(?)new to neoromance and otome games and the such.
But I've just gotten my hands on Hiiro no Kakera, and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de for DS. Screenies are the only things I can help you with, because I don't understand a word of Japanese (Not quite true, but for my purposes, true enough)
And I need some help with the HaruToki anime.
I've managed to get all 26 episodes, including the 2 episode OVA-Ajisai Yumegatari. However, I can't work with torrents(my computer doesn't seem to want to compute when it comes to torrents orz) so I don't have the subbed HaruToki movie ( Harukanaru Toki no Naka de - Maihitoyo (遙かなる時空の中で ～舞一夜～) or the omake endings for each of the 8 Hachiyou.
If someone would be so kind as to point out a direct download site for me I would be very grateful! :D

News from LaLa! If you've been curious about the latest Haruka game but didn't own a NDS, now's your chance to play it on your PS2!
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Yume no Ukihashi Special
The game that combined Haruka 1, 2 and 3 has been ported to a PS2 version. Apparently, the NDS version was well received so they're adding more to the PS2 version. This includes ending stills illustrated by Mizuno Tooko-sensei and new endings! Mizuno-sensei is still working on drawing the stills and will feature rare groupings of the hachiyou...!?

If you haven't visited neoroma.info, take a little time to visit it now! ^_^ The site has been completely redesigned, but pretty much everything is still where you expect to find them.
Why the redesign?
The main reason is because I had to upgrade the CMS since I haven't upgraded it in over a year. ^^; But, I'm glad I did because the new version is so much nicer! Tweaking the templates was a lot easier too, which meant I could make the site look more like how I wanted it to, given my non-existent php knowledge. ^_^;;
Secondly, after using the site for a over year now, I realised that some pages and links required too many clicks to access, or some parts are just not as well organised as they can be. So, this was a good chance to re-organise a bit.
One thing I had to remove in the revamp was the "New and Upcoming Releases" posts. I simply can't keep up with the releases any more, especially when I take long breaks. XP Instead, I'll just link to the calendar on the official site. Last I checked, it's pretty comprehensive even for stuff not released by Koei.
Update your links!
The worst part of the upgrade is the completely new way the CMS generates URLs. This means everything that linked to individual pages within the site is now broken. ^^;; I know this will affect some of your sites and it affects all the links in this comm. SORRY! Please update your links~
Lastly, any feedback will be appreciated. If there's anything you'd like to see added to the site, please suggest and I'll see what I can do. Thank you for all the support. :D

The popular Haruka stage show returns with a new production. The shows will open in Jan 2009 in Tokyo and Osaka. It looks like the cast remains the same (though to be honest, I wouldn't know ^^;) and this time, it's an original story. The only clue given at the official web site is Yasuaki dies. o_O

Updates from the weekly newsletter.
1. If you have a PSP, you can download a trial of Neo Angelique Special here. It's not so much of a trial, and more like a sample of the stills and voice events in the game. The trial only has the 4 original characters from the first game. If you need instructions on where to download and how to install, just ask.
2. The Byakko set of figures for Haruka 3 has been announced. It'll be released in Apr 2009, and after that, the Genbu set will be released in June 2009. For more information, look here, and for more views of all the figures so far, look here.
3. More samples from the Haruka 4 vocal CD have been added. The streaming site is here. Nasatya's (Okiayu Ryoutarou) song is the third one down, and Eka's (Nakamura Seijirou) song is the fourth one.

I should have posted this long ago, so sorry if it's old news by now. ^^; Not so latest news from LaLa!
1. Haruka manga vol 15 will be released on 3 Oct. Rejoice! Volume 15's cover features Akuram and Akane.
2. Also releasing on 3 Oct is the LaLa Novel, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Yangoto Naki Mune no Uchi, written by Hashidate Ayumi with illustrations by Mizuno-sensei. The story is based on the manga (not the game) and features 3 chapters. The chapter titles don't really give a clue about the synopsis, so that's all I can tell you for now. The novel cover does feature Tenma and Eisen so I guess 2 of the stories will be about them.
3. ALSO releasing on 3 Oct is a special anthology from Hana to Yume Comics, Hachiyou-san ga Iku! by Kanechiku Chyunko (カネチクヂュンコ actually have no idea how to spell that name). It's a compilation of all the SD 4-koma comics that have been running in LaLa and LaLaDX for the past however many years. :D
4. The Haruka 4 chapter in LaLa #10 is basically an adaptation of the prologue of the game. It's pretty much word-for-word the same, with only a few added scenes. It's pretty cool though!

Now, Haruka CDs from Koei - updates from Gamecity and everywhere.
1. The first vocal album from Haruka 4 will be releasing this month. A track list has been posted at various online stores. It will include full versions of the 3 vocals already released on the previous CDs, as well as vocals by the rest of the hachiyou (minus Ishida Akira), Okiayu Ryoutarou, Nakamura Seijirou and Nemoto Masakazu. 2. A variety CD for the new Haruka game, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Yumeno Ukihashi, has also been announced for release on 8 Oct. It will include drama tracks (which will definitely involve cross-game hachiyou mixing), plus 2 duets (short versions) by Tomomasa & Hinoe (ROFL) and Motomi & Yuzuru.
