This community was created to unite fans of these two characters and take note of their particular relationship in relation to the series. Of the many wonderful entries we received this time around, we were able to select one winner from the fanart section and the fanfic section. And it definitely wasn't an easy choice. berrygold and myself struggled for a long time. There were just so many amazing entries, and it was hard to not just award you all for your efforts. However, like I mentioned above, we had to decide on some winners. So without further delay...the winners of the NEJITEN CHILDHOOD CONTEST are... ( *drum roll* ) We were both impressed by all the entries. It seriously was one of the hardest contests to judge for. 4 & post comment [ART] An Everlasting Vow - chap 10 sketch [ July 15, 2008 @ 01:10 ] shawnyw Nessie managed to make me feel guilty for not working on the art that I promised.  So I spent some time sketching today.  This is a serious WIP.  I still have to clean up the sketch, add a background, and then color it.  BTW, I'd be more than happy to let someone else color this once I'm done with the lineart.  My coloring skills are pretty sad! ( See the sketch... )

Oh man, I thought I'd be finished in plenty of time, but I reckoned without the little hiccups of service my Internet here in Manila so frequently enjoys. Am I on time to submit this for the 'childhood' contest? *hopes she is* Title: Never A Child Rating: PG-15/T Genre: angst, drama - for now Fandom: Naruto canon Characters: Hyuuga Neji, Tenten ( O child, o corpse, the live dead face of thee ) It's kind of angsty, but the ironic thing is that I had this faint vision of making it the intro to a more comedic series. Yesh. It was supposed to BECOME comedic, but it grew and grew and I couldn't.....well, I could still make it the intro, I suppose. :P
