Sunburn by Laurence Shames.

It's the sequel to a book whose title I can't remember now...sort of a gangster comedy, I guess.

from the library: i'm trying to get through "hollywood" by bukowski. i'm also reading the gossip girls books because i'm obsessed with the show.

from friends: my manager lent me "body" by harry crews and my best friend lent me "look at my striped shirt", a collection of essays about people you hate.

What is "body" about? The "look at my striped shirt" sounds like a fun read.

"The Execution of Willie Francis: Race, Murder, and the Search for Justice in the American South" by Gilbert King. It's non-fiction but it's written in flowing prose like a novel, so it's definitely a page-turner.

The Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson. My out-of-the-loop behind didn't know it had become a tv show until after I finished the first one...I watched it for a minute and wasn't impressed.

Also reading The Testament by John Grisham
