| About: | Welcome to Doctors in the House, a community dedicated to ER's Ray Barnett and Neela Rasgotra. This community is open to all members, and all aspects of the Ray/Neela relationship: fanfic, fanart, fanvids, fanmixes, icons, speculation, spoilers, and discussion. But there are a few rules: 1) No flaming. Everyone has a right to their opinion, and everyone has a right to have their opinions respected. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated. 2) Please post headers containing the following for all fics, and please put all fics, except drabbles (100 words) behind a cut tag. However, if the rating is FRM or higher, please use a cut tag no matter how long it is, so no one sees it if they don't want to. Title: Author: Rating: (IMPORTANT!!! All fics in this community will follow the Fan Rated Rating System. From now on, authors who do not use this system will be warned and will have 24 hours to edit their stories, or their post(s) will be deleted. The MPAA is causing trouble for us fanfiction writers, and we're trying to keep from being sued.) Disclaimer: Spoilers: Content Warning: Posts that are deleted may be reposted by the author with the correct rating system in place. You may include a brief summary as well if you wish. 3) Icons are welcome, but if you're posting more than 3, please use a cut tag. Please put all other large fanart behind a cut tag; thumbnail previews are okay to post without a cut, unless they happen to be spoilery. If your icons or fanart include(s) spoilers from an episode that hasn't yet aired overseas, please use a cut tag and put a spoiler warning in your post. If it's just a general screenshot of Ray or Neela with nothing specific happening (in other words, it could've come from any episode and has no direct spoilers), then you don't need to use a spoiler warning. But if it reveals major plot points, then use of a cut tag and spoiler warning is indicated. If you're unsure, the best thing to do is err on the side of caution and use a cut tag and spoiler warning. 4) Challenges posed by members (in addition to the official ones I post every month - see below) are welcome. They can be anything you want. If you're responding to a challenge that's been posted, please make note of which one it is so I can label it clearly when I archive it in the Memories. On the 4th of every month, I will post a challenge. There aren't any prizes or anything, it's just something to get your muses stirring. Sometimes people want to write, but can't think of a story, so these challenges are there to help. There's no length requirement/restriction, no rating requirement/restriction, and no due date, so feel free to let your imagination run wild and post whenever you finish. If you come up with more than one idea, that's great, too. Post all of them, if you like. :) 5) This is not a community for fan wars. We're all here to have fun and enjoy, and getting attacked is not fun for anyone; please keep the petty bickering out of it. (see rule number 1) 6) On the subject of spoilers: The mods will put up a reaction post for discussing each episode. Please post your comments at the appropriate reaction post for all episodes of the current season. For other episodes, please recognize that fans in Europe and elsewhere won't get to see the episodes until much later in many cases and don't want to be spoiled. So, in the interest of being fair to everyone, please put your comments and episode discussions and speculations behind a cut tag! And please make sure the text of your cut tag isn't spoilery. (e.g. - Acceptable: "OMG! Did you see that part in 'Back in the World'?" Spoilery (and unacceptable): "OMG! Neela slept with Gallant?")
