This community was created for a number of reasons, but the common thread linking its members is simply that we are all single (and have never been otherwise). I dare say we all have different reasons, but most of us expect or hope to have relationships at some point in the future, it just hasn't happened to us yet. The community is mainly for support, just in the form of knowing that there are other people out there and that you're not strange or socially maladjusted if you've got to the age of whatever without ever pairing up. Some of us are hopeless romantics, most of us are sick of hearing that its high time we met someone (as if we can control that) and there are more than a few of us who are impatient with our ongoing single status.
