What is allowed:
*I want this to be a community for natural birth stories only. The point of it is to give woman a place to go to read natural birth stories without having to search them out in a sea of questions and "horror" stories. If you are looking for general pregnancy communities to answer questions

pregnant and _pregnant_ would be happy to have you. As for more natural pregnancy and childbirth communities, naturalpregnant, and naturalbirth are wonderful.*Home birth, unassisted birth, natural VBAC stories.
*Natural hospital birth stories. This is a touchy one because everyone has an opinion of what is and isn't a natural birth in a hospital. I think it is still important to include these for any woman who may be planning a hospital birth to know what to expect and know that, with the right support and information, it is possible.
*Natural birth stories that are not your own. If you were a doula or labor support for a friend or family member during their birth and would like to tell it from your point of view, please do!
What is not allowed:
*Induction stories, even seemingly "good" ones.
*Stories that include the use of narcotics or an epidural for pain relief.
*Stories that include episiotomy, forceps or vacuum extraction. I am tempted to add AROM to this list, but I don't necessarily want to exclude anyone who's birth was natural other than their OB or midwife rupturing their membranes without their permission before they could object.
*Surgical birth stories, whether planned or emergency. I am fully aware that in some cases a surgical birth is needed to save a life, however, that is not the norm.
