¿Premonitorio? Hell, yeah.

Cualquiera pensaría que recordaría a Ángel diciendo "I have no problem spanking men".

Ese es hombre awesome or what?)

Argh. ¿Sabeis lo malo que está el Bisolgrip? MALO. Ugh.

Hollyoaks - John Paul/Craig
Cut to spare the non-believers... )

Okay, I'm done.

... Just so you know, the John Paul/Craig storyline on Hollyoaks is really the only thing that brings me this high up on the fangirl meter.

It's such a guilty pleasure. I (obviously) cannot wait to have it back. And I'm going to be so sad when there is no more left to watch.

Edit:

SPOILERS IN COMMENTS!

BE WARNED.

Buffy: They're gonna expect me to... to be like a Slayer and, and know stuff, but I'm just me and I don't know anything and they're gonna to go away and they're not gonna tell me how to fight Glory and I'm not gonna be able to protect Dawn.
Giles: Buffy, calm down. The scandal here is not anything you've done wrong, it's the way they're behaving. Holding what they know hostage, with a gun pointed at my bleeding green card no less. It's humiliating.
Buffy: Also smart. They picked the perfect thing. I can't lose you.

Buffy, the Vampire Slayer - 5x12 - Checkpoint

My sister got a guitar for her birthday. A guitar. And she can't play. And she got a guitar. Do you know what those two facts combined make? Headache. Big, annoying headache. For which I also blame the cold I seem to have caught, but guitar. Oh, lord. This is going to be a very painful year (that is, until she gets tired of it.) Either way, I spent my afternoon curled up on the couch watching Buffy. Checkpoint, Triangle and Once More With Feeling, to be more specific.

Ah, the amount of Buffy/Giles in Checkpoint. Beyond words. These two make me so happy it's ridiculous. If I could get back the tv (I think my parents took over the dining room by now) I'd watch some season 3 episodes. Also, I felt like hitting Willow in Triangle. Like, a lot. Tara is still the cutest thing in the world, though. And I loved Spike flirting with that Watcher in Checkpoint, I didn't remember that.

Lydia: [about Buffy] I would think that you'd want to kill her. I mean, you've killed Slayers before.
Spike: [steps forward] You've heard of me, have you?
Lydia: I... wrote my thesis on you.

So it seems not only do I have a thing for Watcher-Slayer thing, also a Watcher-Vampire thing. Which I suppose I could have deduced by the Angel/Wes shipping, but I'm smart like that.

PS: I cut my hair. Or, more likely, fixed it. Now it looks the way it's supposed to look. And my fringe isn't all pointy like when I get up, so bonus points for the haircut.

U Me Aur Hum, and random Aamir Khan love
Forgot to make a post about this yesterday.

Anyways...

I gotta say, "Wow."

It was a real emotional film. Ajay Devgan and Kajol are always great. Ajay Devgan put an amazing effort into it. Directing, producing, co-writting, and starring in it. It was a very impressive film. Everything was solid, right until the end.

And I gotta say, it did make me cry. Kajol was so believable in her role, as was Ajay Devgan.

The context of this musical number was really quite sad, but it's still catchy:

I love Kajol and Shahrukh Khan in movies together. They have great chemistry. But really, nothing can compare to Kajol and Ajay Devgan. It doesn't hurt that they're married and have a kid together.

Anyways, I don't actually know what he's saying - aside from obviously trying to get me to buy a fancy TV system - but... Man, I love Aamir Khan. Oh, he cracks me up:

Robin: My father was a cigar fanatic. It was the only way to get his attention.
Barney: Father issues. Hot.
Robin: Yeah, I know. I was this close from being a huge slut.
Barney: Slut would've been better, but I'll settle for bro. Especially now that Ted's with Victoria and can't drink. [Robin looks confused.] Because he's pregnant... because he's the girl.
Robin: Come on, Ted can't be pregnant. You need to have sex to get pregnant.
Barney: What up! Freeze-frame high five!

How I met your mother - 1x14 - Zip, Zip, Zip

Tengo que encontrar mis DVDs de How I met your mother.

Mi padre me preguntó si Nathan era gay.

Y palmeritas.

Anyways, pedí Crime and Punishment.

College
Packing ate my life.

I used to have a room, full of stuff. It looked lived-in, slept-in. It looked comfortable.

Now it's just... gutted closets and seventy billion bags labeled with an address in Boston. My room looks like someone killed it in its sleep, or something.

Everybody's telling me I'm packing way too much shit, which apparently all freshmen do, so I'm sorting everything into piles... but it's so HARD! I mean, do I really need the glowing frog-lamp? Is the Einstein action figure strictly necessary? Is the two-foot long water rifle going to come in particularly handy during orientation? Probably not. But why would I live without them when I don't have to??

And what about the Sendhil poster? And all my Vogue covers from the 1920s? HOW CAN I TELL WHICH THINGS ARE IMPORTANT?? This is driving me nuts.

Meanwhile, you KNOW I'm definitely going to get halfway to New Hampshire and then realize that I forgot, like, the bag with my clothes in it, or something. Ughhhhhhh this is ridiculous SOMEBODY INVENT THE FUCKING TELEPORT ALREADY!!!

Awww... I really wish I could have met Jimmy Stewart at least once.

I've been listening to his speech at Princeton after receiving the Woodrow Wilson Award and someone asked, "Will you sign autographs?"

He said, "I sign every one of them, I think it's part of my job... I sign so many I start misspelling my name sometimes."

Edit:

Question: "Who is your favorite female star?"

Jimmy Stewart: "Uhh... You mean as an actress?"

Hahahaha.

Randomly in some community I just read that someone is a Jimmy Stewart fan. They love It's A Wonderful Life and some other movies, and... well, I had this to say outloud...

*gasp*

"They haven't seen Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Philadelphia Story, Anatomy of Murder, or Rope and they call themselves a Jimmy Stewart fan? FOR SHAME."

[/crazy psycho person]

Edit:

Hahahaha. I love him so much.

Oh, Jordan Witzel... you make us laugh.
Jordan Witzel (weather, etc guy for CTV Winnipeg) was on the scene on Portage and Main and talked for a second about how windy it was.

Michele could not help but retort, "That's not the only thing that blows down Portage and Main."

Oh, LULZ.

Oh, internet.
Now the Borders site works. I wonder what was wrong with it yesterday.

Me and Beth hung out today. We went to the East Village and went a used clothes store (where I got this very nice shirt for only 5 bucks) and a used bookstore. It was awesome. I've missed Beth; I'm glad we got to spend some time together today. And I still need to get my Mohinder doll back from Bonner's house! D: I better do it before classes start.

Other than that, nothing really very interesting to talk about. Other than I wish Sony Vegas would WORK on this damn computer so I could make an awesome superhero music video. :(

I'm eating candy right now. Candy that I took from the office yesterday because it was left over from the Creamery Days parade that was on Saturday. Eating said candy for breakfast.

Well, it's 11am, it's getting closer to lunch more than anything.

Hmm...

This vanilla candy tasted awesome. The coffee one? Not so much. The mint? Taste like an actual leaf. Leafy taste and all. Kind of odd.

Karamel Korn! Tastes kind of stale. Fez is trying to take some from me. He's sitting on my lap. Oh, now he's sma shing his fagtccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccfbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb into my hand and that was just him stepping on my keyboard.

Now he's blocking my way and I can't see....

Edit:

Ugh, I can hardly eat any candy now without feeling icky. I'm going to go find real food now.

He hecho palmeritas... y no he quemado la casa. HA, I WIN. ¿Sabeis qué he hecho también? HA, I FAIL.

Being Honest is FUN.
I don't care about the Dark Knight. I thought it was mediocre. Not great, but not awful.

I don't care about Heath Ledger's Joker and all the talk about 'OMG the role pushed him over the edge!' and 'OMG I SO IDENTIFY WITH HIM' and 'OMG I'D LET HIM RAPE ME' and like I saw on [info]fandomsecrets today 'OMG I'M SO INTO THE JOKER THAT I GOT TURNED ON BY THE BUS BEHEADING IN MANITOBA!'

I wish everyone would just shut the hell up about it all already. Overhype about such things just bugs the hell outta me.

And while we're at it, I gotta say I've never been into the whole 'vidding discussions' thing. I know lots of people are and sometimes it's cool to really see what went on with everything.

But to me vidding was, 'Ooooh, pretty colors, smooth editing'. I know, some people have to be thinking that I'm very out of it or whatever, but I was never into the whole 'deeper meaning' with vids. If someone can look at my vids and think of some big deeper meaning, that's cool. But really, I just did it all to have fun.

I'm not annoyed by seeing vidding discussions and all that around or anything. I just sometimes don't 'get it'.

Let's see...

DAMNIT. I have a problem with remembering things when I want to talk about them. It's like a friending meme where you're asked to list your favorite movies or TV shows or something. I always freeze and can never remember them.

Oh well, I guess I'm not all that 'up on the times' or whatever.

Anyways, I'm going to go learn about the human body and/or weird medical conditions. Yes, I am insane.

Okay, before I left I finished watching Namastey London. And along the way there and back I managed to watch Tashan and Bluffmaster.

Namastey London

That was surprisingly great. I thought it was going to be one of those sort of cheesy movies, but it was really, really cool. Akshay Kumar was great. Katrina Kaif? I'm impressed. I'm really starting to like her.

This musical number was great:

Tashan

HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME. HILARIOUS AND AWESOME. AND I LOVE YOU AKSHAY KUMAR AND THAT HAT WAS COOL.

Hahahahaha. A lot of fun. Kareena Kapoor needed to eat a sandwich though. So badly.

Bluffmaster

My love for Abhishek Bachchan is truly complete now. And Ritesh Deshmukh was great too. The movie had me a bit, 'eh?' at points. It went one way, it went another, but in the end I really enjoyed it.

I HAD TO REWATCH THIS MUSICAL NUMBER SEVERAL TIMES.

And... I started watching U Me Aur Hum at lunch. So far I like it. Ajay Devgan and Kajol ♥
