Open RP CHEM. [Open to Shikamaru, Chouji and Kurenai]
Naruto stumbled into the Chem room. Was he late? He had no idea. It was Wednesday after school, his scheduled time to make up his chemistry lab project with Chouji. He looked about the empty room, noticing that he was the first one here.

Wait- First?

...no one was here yet?

Naruto chewed his lip, knowing that he probably wasn’t able to do this entire lab without Chouji and Shikamaru. He figured they were off cloud watching or something, but if Chouji missed the lab all was doomed for their report cards that were going to be coming up soon. Naruto huffed, and walked in, dropping his bag lazily to the ground. He sat down at a table, seeing all the chemicals laid out for the experiment he and Chouji were suppose to conduct.

How the hell am I going to do this? He looked over the package of papers laid out, already getting confused with all the little numbers, signs and un-balanced formulas. He hoped they would be here soon, since he just wanted to get this lab over with. And he also hoped Chouji would drag Shikamaru here for help, cause he knew they needed it.

"Maaahhh...." He whined.

((Hope this looks alright, friendsters. Planned as if it was Wednesday. We can change stuff if you don't like something. And off with the boom!))

Shikamaru walked in, yawning. He didn't want to be here. His black button up shirt laid out over his jeans untucked. He was too lazy to fix it. He saw Naruto over at one of the counters in the Chem lab. This was going to be interesting. "Why don't you just let me do this and get it over with. At least I won't blow up the school." He said in a lazy voice to the blonde boy.

Naruto looked up from the confusing chem papers and instantly a wave of relief washed over him when he saw Shikamaru. He grinned at him and gave a small shrug. "I won't blow up the school, but if you wanna do it, I'll let you as long as I get to put my name on the paper." He said coyly.

"No thank you. Any less work I have to do is more time I have sleeping. I don't want to be here," he said in his nasal voice. He yawned again, taking a seat at one of the counters. No one else was here yet but them. He eyed Naruto. "Don't pick up anything dangerous. Translation...everything."

Naruto frowned. "Hey, I can do it. I'll be a pro by the end of this lab." He shot back, reaching for a chemical bottle and observing it as it he was some sort of professional scientist.

Too bad, he had no idea what it was... "...."

Naruto blinked at Shikamaru before gasping lightly and dropping the little bottle.

Yes, he knew he was going to cause bodily harm. Maybe kill someone if he didn't get help.

He laughed a little sheepishly.

Hearing the door to her classroom open and close, Kurenai peered up from the massive stack of papers on her desk, waiting to be graded. She was surprised to see that Uzumaki was the first to show up. Granted, he was fifteen minutes late, but better late than never.

She watched as he dropped his bag and sat at the table, staring in obvious confusion at the lab materials.

Surprisingly, Nara walked in a few minutes later. With a raised eyebrow, Kurenai followed him with her eyes. Shikamaru didn't necessarily need this lab in order to get an A in the class. After all, he had been setting the curves for the all the exams as of far. But Naruto and Chouji needed this lab in order to merely pass the class.

After seeing that Shikamaru seemed to have an idea of what to do, Kurenai let out a sigh of relief, knowing that perhaps, she wouldn't have to ask the science department for money to buy broken lab materials... again. That is, if Uzumaki didn't toy around with anything...

Naruto and Shikamaru probably could hear Chouji coming before he even came twenty feet of the classroom. When he really got moving, the noise was aptly likened to the sound of a herd of rampaging elephants. Chouji threw open the classroom door and stumbled in, his ponytail half undone, flushed and panting from running. He dropped his bookbag on the floor with a breezy sigh, plopping bonelessly into one of the desk chairs.

"Dammit, I'm late," he groused breahtlessly, unbuttoning his collar two buttons down. "I'm sorry---Ino cornered me after math, and uh...yeah. But I'm here now! Did I miss anything?"

((zomg sorry for the late entry, kids! I swear all these finals essays are going to kill me ded ♥. And wtf Mich, I'm listening to Glycerine right now. That song is freaking addictive.))

Shikamaru turned to see Chouji stumble into the classroom, cheeks flushed. He chuckled as the boy sat down beside him. "Looks like you had a chemistry lesson before you got here..." he said with a nudge to his friends arm. He yawned again, laying his head facedown on his arms. Time for a good nap while those two tried to figure out what to do.

Chouji gave him an appropriately blank look, rolling his eyes.

"You only say that because you're jealous," he grumbled, running his fingers through his hair with a loud sigh. He pulled it back as best he could, growling around the hair-elastic he had between his teeth. "Cut the fat kid some slack, man. Now, as I was asking---did I miss anything, or were you just catching up on the sleep you missed flogging the dog?"

Shikamaru grumbled sharply, giving Chouji a look that could scare little animals out of thier skin. He stuck his nose in the air, "I have nothing to be jealous of" he said shortly, ignoring the last part as best he could. He refused to admit that he ever ever did such a thing. He was ready to get this damn lab over with. He squinted his eyes together again as he looked back over to his big friend. "You know I don't have to be here...." he said with a sigh standing up off his stool and stretching. "I can just go home...."

Naruto flailed his arms, not wanting to get into the conversation between the two best friends, but at the same time just wanting to get this foul lab over with.

"Mahhh~ Come on, let's just get down to work, ne? I want to go home." He pouted. "We haven't started yet, so you didn't miss anything, Chou."

He was very relieved inside. He swore he was going to explode if the both of them hadn't shown up. Or well- ...explode something.

Naruto clapped his hands together. He was ready to start. Again, he randomly flipped through the little note book provided. He paused, confusion bubbling in his eyes. "Chouji...you start."
