This is a community dedicated to general fiction.
I’d like to make this very clear.
I want an open-minded community where a reader can come to read stories that are plot or friendship driven, rather than romance. I love romance and smut, but there are plenty of other communities devoted to that, and in pretty much any flavor you could ask for.
I want this community to be friendly to het, yaoi, and yuri, but not dedicated to any of them. This community should focus on stories without pairings, or where the pairings are tertiary to the plot and character interaction.
If you also want this out of a community, then you are in the right place.
Joining:
For the time being, membership is open. I intend to keep it so, unless this becomes a problem.
Posting:
Stories should be labeled clearly with their title, rating, and warnings. If the story includes a pairing, it should also be labeled.
Realize that while a story may include a pairing, if the story is about that relationship, then this probably isn’t the place to post it. Relationships are fine. Most people have them. I don’t expect every story posted here to be pairing-free. Just use your best judgment about whether or not that relationship is part of the story, or part of the setting.
Stories may be rated from G through NC-17, however chances are that if your story warrants an NC-17 rating, you should think twice about posting it on a community dedicated to genfic.
Reviewing:
Reviews should be delivered in a civil tone, but negative feedback and constructed criticism will be accepted and encouraged. If you can not take someone giving you such, then you shouldn’t be posting here. If you can not give such in a mature manner, then you shouldn’t be replying here.
Flames, on the other hand, will not be tolerated. If you flame, you will be banned. What constitutes a flame will be at the discretion of the Mod.
Conversation:
Other conversation should be relevant to Naruto, and preferably Naruto fiction. This is not the place to discuss the latest chapters--there are other communities for that. However on topic, civil conversations about Naruto fiction, characterization, and writing will be allowed at the discretion of the Mod.
