Rules for Submitting
(Modified as of 05/03/08)
I'm assuming you've already read the Nominations Rules and are ready to submit your nomination to the community? If you haven't read the rules for nominating yet, you should go do that before proceeding! If you have any questions, please visit the FAQ!
That said, here are the steps to submitting your accepted nomination:
+ Here is the form in case you forgot and/or need it again:
+ If the story cannot be linked to for whatever reason, please copy and paste it behind an LJ-cut. This does apply to submitted Drabbles that aren't being nominated for 'Best Work In Progress'. If the fic is a Songfic DO NOT supply a Fanfiction.net link! It is against FFN's policy and as such, accounts containing them may be terminated. This unfortunately happened to a few people during another contest I hosted.
+ The submission's subject header needs to look like this: [Standard Category(s) / Specials Category(s)] Title of fic.
(Note: If your header is not done this way, your submission may be deleted!)
+ Also, if you are nominating an INCOMPLETE work, please note that 'Best Work in Progress' is the only category that fic can compete in.
Step TWO--> Please tag the fic accordingly. Tag the the title of the fic, the author's LJ username (if applicable), the author's FFN/other applicable pen name, and the category(s) the fic will be competing in, and what contest it will be competing in and what year (i.e. the main contest, the holiday contest, etc.).
+ Example: title: chocolate kisses, author: shafted_artist, author: princess lightina, cat: romance: main: 2008, cat: best character portrayal: main: 2008

+ Why are we being so nitpicky about the tags? Because organization is key :D. Also, consideringnaruto_choicehas been a host to past contests, specific tags like these insure there will be no mix ups with past nominations (i.e. accidentally counting a 2007 Angst nomination with the 2008 Angst nominations.)
+ If there is an instance where certain tags won't display correctly, don't worry about it. A moderator will fix it for you ^_~.
Important notes:
+ There must be at least three (3) submissions per category in order for that category to be eligible for voting. If there is an instance where someone’s submission will no longer be eligible, we will comment on their post and ask them if they can choose another category to participate in. If we do not hear back from them we have the right to place it in another category we find appropriate or delete the submission altogether.
+ Also, please refrain from posting anything aside from a submission or nomination to the community without the moderators’ approval. We do not want to have to have readers search through the posts in order to find the contest entries.
+ If a Moderator contacts you asking for you to modify your submission post, please respond in a timely manner!
+ Lastly, if a case of plagiarism arises there will be severe consequences. An inspection of your work will be carried out over atstop_plagiarism where they will, ultimately, reach a verdict. This is your only warning.
