[Scene: It is the day after Asuka's first fitting of her outfit for her date dinner with Kureno. Izume has been working some very long hours, and is tired, so she decides to take a break. Kotetsu, meanwhile is in the kitchen, doing the dishes and oblivious to everything before Izume can pounce! And by which I mean she sneaks up behind Kotetsu and hugs her 'round the waist while also taking advantage of the living, breathing, warm leaning post.]

"Hardly. Shizuya will be seeing to the Hokage's medical needs. Your job, aside from keeping an eye on a few pet projects, is to keep the Hokage entertained so he doesn't throttle Shizuya, who is only doing his job."

"Oh, so he can throttle me instead? And here I thought you loved me enough to kill me yourself."

"Aki, if you manage to get yourself killed by the Hokage, I shall be very disappointed in you. I trust you're agile enough to keep him from laying a hand on you."

"Oh, well, if you're going to compliment me like that, I'll just have to do it."

"Good. <3"

"*grins and winks* After all, anything for you Ibiki-chan."

"*quiet chuckle* Just remember - if he kills you, that means I don't get to. And if you do a good job of keeping Hokage-sama entertained, I'll even take you out to dinner."

"Alright! That definitely settles it!"
