(Please Note: Our community has only recently become active once again after a hiatus, so posting may be slow at the moment but it will perk up soon ^^)

NC is a community designed for intelligent, artistic & interesting people who have a lifestyle which, in some way, involves drugs. Here we do not advocate, condemn nor condone drug usage, we try to provide our members with beneficial advice, support & an understanding ear as fellow or former users. We actually like to get to know the people we're sharing illicit and sometimes immensely private information with. As a member you can feel free to ask questions you need answered, or simply tell us about nights out or highs experienced - you can talk about anything you wish, the subjects we discuss are not always confined to drug use, but include an array of other subjects such as art, music, law, politics, news etc...
In main stream society today drugs may as well be a blasphemous word. This lack of understanding is creating such a stigma that as a result many of us are left without the correct support we need to stay comfortable & safe. In turn, the majority of online drug communities available to us are filled with ill advice, immaturity, trouble makers, ignorance and a huge lack moderation & privacy.
Here we feel posting information about drug use publicly online is a worry for any intelligent user, and so we pride ourselves in being the most secure & private drug community on Livejournal. We do everything we possibly can to keep the unintelligent, trouble makers & trolls out via our access and application process. We're in no way all about the number of members we can rack up - we're about learning who you are, making friends, keeping you safe & doing our very best to keep your information secure online.

| | Our Policies.
APPLICANTS.
Please post an application to this community within a week of granted access. We prefer that you do not post or comment on anything (except your application) until you are a stamped member, as activity in this community is a members only perk.
You must post a picture salute on your application connecting you with your journal. Please write your journal username (clearly shown) on your hand or if you wish some other (non-explicit) body part. Your whole face must be included in the photograph beside your salute. Messy, unreadable or doctored salutes will be rejected and you will be removed if you cannot provide us with a replacement salute. Once your salute has been accepted you can delete it at any time.
For the safety of our members, new or barely used journals will not be admitted. We take into account any public information that is available to us while considering if your journal should be granted access. Depending on the situation, other information may be requested by our staff to confirm you are (a.) a real person, (b.) willing to follow our rules. If you have been wrongfully rejected, please contact the staff member in charge of community access and provide them with a salute.
Please write "Application" in the subject line of your application post (&, if possible, the tags section) - this is to ensure you have read our rules. Your application should be under an LJ-cut, this is already done for you in our copy & paste application. Please preview your application before posting it to our community as we may ask you to correct HTML errors to ensure we can clearly read your application to cast a fair vote.
MEMBERS.
Please do not perpetuate drama in our community. We embrace that everyone has an opinion of their own but please do not cross the line in exhibiting bullying behaviour.
When voting on an application, to help the staff member in charge of stamping duties, please make it clear on the subject line if you voted yes or no.
YOUR SAFETY/THE LAW.
First of all, Livejournal users under the age of 18 are not permitted in this community. This is in accordance with the US communications decency act.
Also, please do not request illegal substances in this community. Posts/comments asking someone directly or indirectly to provide you with illegal substances or to provide you with information of where you can obtain, buy, sell, find illegal substances is strictly forbidden. This includes posts/comments that contain references in offer of, either from yourself or from others, illegal substances in any way whatsoever.
Lastly, directly instructing another LJ user how to grow/prepare/smuggle illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
LIVEJOURNAL ABUSE POLICY.
Users shall not post content which is intrinsically illegal, or is soliciting, instructing, or encouraging others to violate the law.
In the case of content which is intrinsically illegal, such as attempting to buy or sell things which are illegal to distribute, access to the post will be disabled.
Content which solicits, instructs, or encourages illegal activities will result in access to the post being disabled. If the illegal activity is deemed by the Abuse Prevention Team to be likely to cause permanent or irreparable harm, permanent suspension may be considered.
This policy does not cover material which merely discusses illegal activities from a theoretical, academic, or personal experience viewpoint.
As noted in section XXI of the Terms of Service, LiveJournal is based in California, and as such is governed by U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of California. Users not residing in the U.S. are still required to abide by U.S. law on LiveJournal.
While discussing illegal activities may not be illegal itself, providing information to others on how to break the law can be. To protect ourselves and our users, we take action to remove this material when it is brought to our attention. |
