A tutorial dealing with light textures, as requested by the wonderful and extremely patient reve_lucide. I hope this jumbled stream-of-consciousness story tutorial makes some sense and helps to answer your questions.

It should be noted that this tutorial is designed for those already familiar with icon making, and will therefore gloss over any points not relative to the incorporation of light textures (cropping, for example).

As well, I've gone through and reordered the tags in an effort to make this journal a little less cluttered and a little more user friendly. And speaking of which, if you've commented in the past asking me for things (links re-uploaded, custom icons, etc.) and I haven't replied and/or done it yet, comment here with your request. I had a few that I know of piled up, but I lost them all before I got around to doing them. I apologize for that and any inconvenience caused by my negligence.

Furthermore, if you haven't commented, but wanted to, or if there's something specific you'd like to see posted here in the future--a fandom, headers, wallpapers, etc.--this is also a good post to reply to. I won't promise anything, but you never know. Every once in a while I actually pay attention and do things.
