| About: | This community is a role-playing community for participants in the 2007 NaNoWriMo. More information about NaNo can be found on the official site: www.nanowrimo.org This comm is not officially affiliated with NaNoWriMo. Setting: A magical bar/cantina where people can come in and get food and drink, and mingle with others. No payment required. The bartender and all servers are NPCs and can be created by anyone and played with at will, but no killing them. Characters can come from any place or time, including completely imaginary ones. Purpose: Entertainment, and an opportunity to play and write with one's characters before NaNoWriMo begins in a sort of alternate-universe setting. Make more believable characters by practicing writing with them outside of the novel. Rules: 1. No killing/maiming other characters without that player's permission. 2. Original characters only. If you're writing fan fiction for NaNoWriMo it's okay to bring in original characters from your story that will appear in a fandom setting. 3. You don't need a separate character journal for your character(s); that's optional. If you don't have one, please have at least one dedicated icon/avatar for your character and use that, or one of several icons if you want to use more than one icon, when you post. 4. Keep it PG-13 or below. Mature subject matter, occasional cursing, and other things that you might not want to read to a class of second-graders is fine, but if it's clearly for adult eyes only (extreme gore, excessive profanity, descriptions of sex acts, etc.) please take that thread outside the comm. 5. Maximum 3 characters per player. 6. If you're going to use stuff from the RPG in your novel, make sure that it's either your own creation from your own posts (things that don't involve any other players), or that you have permission from the other player(s) involved in that arc.
