Hello all, I'm new here.
I just finished the series today, and I just adore it. I also, of course, love Mytho/Rue.
I wish I had more to offer, but all I have is one dinky drabble.
Sometimes, late at night, lying in bed, Mytho would wonder why he hadn’t chosen Tutu. It wasn’t out of anger—he had forgiven Rue everything—and it wasn’t regret—he loved Rue; he wanted to be with her forever—it was just wondering.
Tutu had been kind, and good, and willing to sacrifice everything for him—the perfect princess. Rue had been a raven, a villain; the one forever denied a happy ending.
Then he would hear Rue mutter nonsense in her sleep, and feel her wrap her arms around him, and he would decide it didn’t really matter anyway.
