AN: Its sort of AU but not really at all. I sort of just picked the plot points that fit the story if that makes any sense. So while there is a lot canon stuff in the story, I haven't followed the established time line...hopefully that makes sense and now I'm going to run away and hide.

Summary: Only stripped to the waist, Mohinder felt more naked, more exposed when he knew that Sylar could see, feel the battle of wills going on inside his head. Sylar lazily dragged his hand up and down his side, obviously relishing the tug of war between fear and want, desperation and neediness pulling on one side, wanting the comfort and pleasures of the hand resting on his hip while the overwhelming strength of guilt and disgust pulled on the other, wishing for the chance to roll away and seek refuge in a cold shower.

A/N: Some of you may vaguely remember this. Most of you probably won't. Someone reminded me it existed today, so I decided to stop being a pansy and polish up what I had to post. I make no promises about continuing; if I started thinking of it as an obligation, it would guaruantee that it would never see the light of day. I know myself.

( Mohinder woke slowly and with great reluctance from a deep and dreamless sleep, and for a few blissful moments he didn’t know and didn’t care where he was, beyond the fact that the bed he was in was the most comfortable he’d ever known. Then reality intruded, and he swallowed down a scream. )
